B.B. do u think thy will SIF this week? I am going to post office at lunch time to express mail thy will have it by tmm. I just hope my husband has Jan interview so we can spend our 1st anniversary together Feb 9th but nothg is possible until god wills.

If NVC received ur RFE by Tomorrow. then send an email to supervisor sue next day & also indecate the date that u have submitted. It will give them buzz to find your mail from other building.

Well. My case is still in final review. :( What a disaterous way to start the week. I hate being optimistic. Everyone was saying how AVRS is wrong. But I kept thinking it's been right for me so far. Why would it be wrong. With everyone's insistance, I started to be hopeful. Look how it has turned out.

Now I will be a good little boy and wait 4-6 weeks just like NVC says. I feel so angry now. Well not really angry. Just frustrated.

The NVC received my response last friday. Will it take them the same amount of time to enter it in as it took them to enter my IV and AOS?

Response is usually one to two weeks after they receive your response from you. Hang in there you are almost done :thumbs:

The girl said I should call back toward the end of the week. They started the final review on 11/23. And it takes at least 5 business days.

Should I send an email to Supervisor Sue urging her to wrap up this case quickly?

IMO emails to sup. sue are never harmful and can only be helpful. give it a shot and see what she says. just be cautious with wording. :)

@786india, As soon as they have your new I-864A, they need to enter the package into the system and review it. Probably in 2 weeks time. Then SIF and CC. You have still the chance for a later Jan interview :thumbs:

I have confirmed with another BD person who had recently case complete done with NVC. He told me exactly same after SIF next few days, he got an email with interview letter CC. I dont know why they are taking so long for your case to be complete. Kuch garbar hai kya?

Some update from me about the medical :)

My wife went to Appollo Heart Center at Chennai to do the medical today.

She had:

1) Appointment Letter

2) Passport

3) 3 Photos

4) Cash for medical

5) Prior vaccination records

She reached there at 8:45AM and entire procedure completed at 1:30PM. Though, she had all the vaccinations, they suggested the below and provided to her.

1) DTAP

2) Varicella

3) MMR

They also did her X-ray, blood test, physical checkup including the lab work.

The cost of entire procedure was Rs.4,800 (ball park $105). She can collect the report tomorrow afternoon after 3:30PM.

Medical was so easy!

She also went to FRRO, Chennai and collected child's Indian OCI (She beat my timeline here :star:)

Hurray! TWO MORE DAYS!!!

Congrats on the medical being done Loto. :) Would you recommend me and 786india using the Supervisor Sue route to get our RFEs reviewed? Mine RFE is so gut wrenching because the guy told me on the phone that the AOS was fine, it just needed someone to look at the damn copy of my co-sponsor's passport and click the "approve" button on their computer. lol/argghhhh
