Not a requirement. NVC, USCIS, Embassy already has your I130. If you have it, take two copies of it with you to the interview. If you don't, don't worry about it. Like I said, it's not a requirement. But you want to take two copies of all civil documents along with original if didn't submit original at NVC.

Noone answered my question? Two copies of I130, AOS, IV for interview or just one copy?

@IS one copy is sufficient from what I remember reading through here. My husband and I just made one copy of everything for him. NVC will send all the file to the consulate. The copy is just in case...things can come up missing during the transfer of the case so it is better to be safe than sorry. I have a copy for myself but it is scanned and uploaded into my computer.

appreciate it guys for the response!!! Thats the response i was hoping for. Glad to hear that NVC is moving and SIF & CC's are happening!

NVC

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

Ok, so I fell asleep for the last few hours (my back pain has been tons better, so I guess I am catching up) and when I woke, just for laughs, tried to sign in again.

Basically, we both reviewed I-130, I-864 and DS-230 all the questions and answers.

All the general questions and answers are reviewed (like my employment, her military details, our relatonship, child matter, my divorce matter, my present address/phone, taxes, my trips to visit her etc.)

Most importantly:

1) Why the first GC surrendered

2) The denial of her B1/B2 visa before filing this new GC

3) The reasons why we applied the GC this time

My wife, daughter and MIL are flying to Chennai in another couple of hours time (Sunday). They got a guest house and car arranged there.

Medical - Monday & Tuesday (Lady applicants, please note that you should be out of your menstural period for medical :devil: )

Child's Indian OCI collection - Wednesday

Interview - Thursday

Flying back home - Saturday morning

And finally, my package has not reached on Saturday as well. So, they are proceeding without my ####### package. Thanks to Indian postal system :star:

Good luck to everybody here for their upcoming interview and NVC completion :thumbs:

I was concerned mailing a copy of my Visa packet to my wife in China, so I sent my packet to a friend of my wife and I, to hand carry to her on his trip to China this month. Now that she has it, we can discuss each page. Best of Luck to you Loto. :thumbs:

Update from me :star:

My wife, daughter and MIL are flying to Chennai in another couple of hours time (Sunday). They got a guest house and car arranged there.

Medical - Monday & Tuesday (Lady applicants, please note that you should be out of your menstural period for medical :devil: )

Child's Indian OCI collection - Wednesday

Interview - Thursday

Flying back home - Saturday morning

And finally, my package has not reached on Saturday as well. So, they are proceeding without my ####### package. Thanks to Indian postal system :star:

Oh Loto...this is going to be an anxious week for you! You've been through this before but it doesn't make it easier. All your "#######" that didn't reach your wife in time hopefully will not really be needed for the interview...I just hope that it shows up eventually so that you'll at least have your original docs back!

You and I have been following each other's progress now and supporting each other every step of the way since our initial filings and we've both come a long way. You've prepared well - the paperwork AND your wife! :)

I wish you guys the best of luck and I'm sure you'll have much to celebrate come Thursday! You are indeed a man with a "lotopatience" and your "patience" will indeed have "paid off".
