Hey, today is great day with many SIF and good news

Good job!

Rest all, you are pretty close to SIF and CC in NVC! Just be patient for just few days. That's all!

Loto

svenkatc,

I did "do my research" before I sent the email, I'm not ignorant and I'm aware that anything I do may have its repercussions. However, the approval was unexpected and I'm just a little nervous so I was looking for more insight and the likes. I HAVE fully read the thread from the beginning, however after 200+ pages it isn't easy to locate an exact post.

Thanks.

HoustonApollo,

You are fine at this point of time!

I will give you the instructions one by one. Bit busy today.

Loto,

I hope you are right. Frankly, I'm ready to call and insist on a supervisor Monday. Do you have any idea why my packages haven't been looked at AT ALL, either one of them? The AVR still says 'your documents were received on the 17th,' and the morons at NVC say the same things, I've even asked 'is either package being reviewed yet?' every days (at least) for the past 3 days. The answer is no. ####### is going on? People who have been scanned AFTER me are getting SIFs, and no one is even looking at my packages!

Thanks, Houston :)

Just want to reiterate what I said earlier:

My AVR is STILL saying "we reviewed your package and found information missing. A letter was sent on 11/21 detailing blah, blah, blah".

I want to emphasize very clearly to anyone reading this post that is still waiting for an SIF, the following:

DO NOT RELY ON THE AVR's TO GET ANY ACCURATE INFO.

These messages are ALL computer-input driven and if your reviewer does not enter the proper date sequence of your package reviews, these messages will NEVER be correct! Always CALL AND SPEAK TO A HUMAN before stressing out! Chances are, you're docs are ok and you just have to be....PATIENT!

Yes svenkatc is correct. Read all pros and cons there.

@HustonApollo,

No worries at this point of time! Consulate is NOT going to send the case back to NVC.

In fact, NVC co-ordinated with the Consulate and Consulate approved this expedite. Then only NVC can forward your case file to the Consulate.

Now you are done with NVC. No more contact with NVC, except NVC and DOS calls just to make sure exactly when the file was gone out of NVC building.

Once this is confirmed clearly, your only point of contact is the Consulate.

Consulate will schedule the interview date and notify the beneficiary with the packet4. Packet4 will have appointment letter. Medical can be done with the appointment letter and other docs. Check my signature too.

Pros- Speedy interview date

Cons- Documents (AOS and IV) must be clear, completed perfectly with all supporting docs in order to avoid any potential AP

Having said this, NVC clearance does not gurantee the 100% AP free. Local consulate has more specific set of rules that NVC doesn't peek into. So, prepare for the Consulate also very well. If NVC has reviewed the packages (IV and AOS), they will make sure the accuracy of the forms and supporting documents at a great extent. In your case (an in my case too), we rely ourselves about the completeness of the forms and supporting documents.

If you list all the documents sent with IV and AOS, we can verify all and if you have any specific situation than normal, please let us know.

Yes, AVRS does not update properly or bit delayed with the actual.

Best bet is contacting the human and that also from multiple humans to conclude the things.

Don't worry about petitioner's change of address at this point of time.

But, it is important to update the beneficiary's change of address since Consulate has to send packet4 at the right address.

In regular path, NVC will email the interview appointment letter to the petitioner.

However, if you wish you can update the petitioner's Change of address over the phone with NVC, in order not to delay the process.

You need to file I-865 for any change in petitioner's address.

After POE, bebeficiary need to file AR-11 (by paper or online) for any change of address.
