yes svenkatc, I am thankful to god that they didn't miss any of my original document, otherwise it would be a big big pain in a neck to acquire the original from our country. I have heard that many people were victim of missing their originals by NVC.

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

Updated NVC tracker too. AVRS still has the same message. Expecting it to change shortly after midnight.

Btw, reaching NVC today was a piece of cake. Never had to hit the redial button too many times.

Loto, I know that you always take a lot of precaution at every step of the process, but I think Fathima will have no problem with the interview. Good things have just started happening for you. You just got your contract extended and your wife and kid will be here with you in no time. Very happy for you :)

Still no change on my part, Just checked the AVR it still says that they are waiting for the biographic information from the petitioner. So if the trend holds true may be they will input the DS230 around the 30th, 15 days since it was accepted at NVC.

NVC

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

Oh, sorry to hear about your wife's ankle injury, Loto. My best friend had a sprain in his ankle recently and know how painful that can be. Ask her to keep an ice pack immediately and keep her leg raised (above the heart level).

Also ask her to take some anti-inflammatory medication immediately. She needs to rest a lot.

Ask her to Follow RICE as below

* Rest your ankle - do not walk on it.

* Ice - this helps to keep the swelling down. Use ice on the injury several times a day for 15-20 minutes (more than 20 minutes is not advised)

* Compressive bandages are needed to immobilize the ankle sprain and to support the injury.

* Elevate the ankle above your heart level for as much as you can for 48 hours.

I'm really steamed here. Others whose stuff was scanned in after mine have gotten SIF, yet when I call these f-ing morons at NVC, they still haven't even started reviewing my package. I don't know what to do, other than call and demand to talk to a supervisor on Monday and raise holy hell. This is complete and utter bull.
