Which communication is true & correct from NVC? E-mail. live person or AVRS? shouldn't they have case processing updates portal like USCIS??

B.B.

:ot2:

I think our best bet is the live persons even though they repeat them selves so much  ... and I agree with you the case processing updates portal like USCIS would be great for NVC as well. I don't know why they don't have it

Malvika, If you talk to another 3 operators, they will say that the photographs are there :star:

Loto

Right Loto, I am also going to email supervisor Sue and request her to check my case file once again.

# BTW what address should I send my f'ckin RFE to now?

# Is it the same address as I sent my IV packet?

# Can I write anything special in the envelop that they will treat it differently and process it faster than regular documents?

How long is it going to take now to get SIF after the RFE mail reach their building? Any idea?

Sorry to hear that Malvika. Continue to follow up with them to find the photographs. It most probably fell inside the envelope you sent. I spoke to a parrot just now and it said, they are still reviewing my DS 230 and since it was just scanned on 11/19 to give it some time for the review to be complete. I am thinking they should be done with the review today looking at the fact your IV packet was scanned a day before mine.

I put my photographs in a zip lock and stapled the ziplock to a sheet of paper. Hopefully they don't lose mine.

Good Morning Folks,

Just got off the phone with NVC.

Per an NVC operator - They have reviewed my IV and found photographs missing which I had sent together with the package. I told that freakin' parrot that I included 2 passport size identical photographs in the package, then he told me that he will have a supervisor review my case again and see if they find photographs. In the mean time he also suggested me to send the photograph again if it can be readily available.

I then asked him do you see anything else missing in the package? He says 'nope just the photographs'

NVC is driving me crazy.

I am going to overnite delivery of photograph today.

Another 2-3 weeks since they receive the photograph and scan it to my case file. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think you should print out the cover sheet for the IV packet and enclose it with the photographs and send it to the same address where you sent your IV too.

Thanks

malvika,

sorry to hear that NVC has lost your photographs. I didn't include my wife's photograph when i sent out IV packet. but AVRS has changed to checklist respond receive on 11/23..please allow....blah blah. but funny matter is that the photos that my wife sent from Bangladesh via DHL which was receved on 11/24. I hope they will put that onto my case.

B.B.

:ot2:

This is so frustrating M_B, I am loosing my hope even for January interview now :(

If your AVR says checklist response received then it means they have scanned your DS-230 now.

I am sure that they will find your photographs don't lose hope...I think that this is a way NVC is controling how quickly cases are closed. They come up with bogus things to slow us down...Don't give up keep calling

I hope so Tabndan, Thank you!

Write NVC case#, beneficiary name and DOB at the back side of the photographs.

How freakin' irresponsible of these people to lose something that was so carefully put together and cause so much trauma to the sender. Bad karma for them !:bonk:

Email supervisor Sue mentioning exactly how you had your photographs in the package and have them re-check the contents of the package once again. Am sure these irresponsible train wrecks will find it. I guess they are more prone to be careless during holidays thinking of all the food and fun they will have next day.

I did M_B, they said the AVRS takes inputs from a computer (duh, we know that !) and not to rely on its message too much. She said it is still being reviewed and there is nothing missing so far.

Plan to call again later this evening.
