I have been receiving same message since 11/22 & Spoke to several times with NVC operator, they said my ds-230 form missing photograph, birth certificate, etc which i already submitted last week. I think this is standard message. before they have review your iv package.

This is really crazy when NVC receives all documents from us and still says "this is missing and that is missing" I guess that's not the standard msg, rather they miss some docs on the pile and later on they find it. I am really not sure !

In the mean time, could you put your timeline in signature please?

I was getting this msg. in AVR when my AOS was entered and NVC was waiting for DS-230, when NVC entered my DS-230 then the AVR was "NVC has received the checklist response on............" , but since this morning it is saying that missing msg. again.

Debby, I wonder why it is taking this long to review IV package? Aren't they able to tell you anything in your case yet?

Yes, we need to support each other during this tough time.

I am so freaked out now since NVC is close today. I really wanna get over with this freakin things in NVC. Help me God !

I was getting this msg in AVR before I submitted my DS-230 packet, Your iv packet form miising incomplete blah blah..but date was 11/17, My packet was delivered on 11/18(according USPS tracking), suddenly on 11/23, I got same message except the date is telling me 11/22.

I think NVC has reviewed my IV packet since I didn't include the photograph of my wife, that reason they sent out RFE. Unfortunately my wife sent her photograph to NVC with IV cover sheet & explanation letter( as operator advised) which was delivered via DHL yesterday 11/24. If RFE only about photograph then I am assuming my case wil be completel by following friday.

Hey Guys,

Am also getting the same message. Earlier it was saying .."NVC reviewed the information..documents missing..a letter sent on 11/21", now it says..."NVC reviewed the information...documents missing..letter sent on 11/24". Just the dates changed.

Also, I received the check list email yesterday and that asked for the DS-230. I also spoke to 2 operators yesterday and they both told that I can ignore the message as my ds-230 hasn't been reviewed yet. My message changed to this from the earlier message of "NVC has received your documents...please allow 6 to 8 weeks...". I never got the "received checklist letter message".

In any case, we can all call NVC on Friday and check once more.

I was doing little bit of financial analysis and it turns out I cannot go get the lady until January.

Has anyone ever got a RFE after getting as SIF? I think not. I may have received my SIF on 24th rather than 23rd. Or I got it really, really, really late in the night of 23rd. That's why I don't have a CC yet. Today just had to be a off day for NVC. Friggin' #######! Looking forward to a CC tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Try not to to pollute the earth too much in your celebration for all the bounty it provides. Ok.

I wouldn't call it RFE letter yet. It is the standard checklist letter they send out once they review the AOS and not the DS 230.

Hey Debbie,

Even though the message has been the same for you, did the dates on the message change for you ?

It did for me and Malvika and also to some extent for Miami_boy and he had a RFE for photos. I never received the checklist received message on the AVRS so far. Am thinking it could be a potential RFE since the dates on the AVRS changed and they could have reviewed the application yesterday or something. I don't think my check list letter was sent yesterday even though I received it yesterday, knowing that the NVC emails don't go out the same day they are sent.

Well..what the heck, even if it is a RFE, we will deal with it and move on.

I'm getting the same message, Malvika. I spoke to an NVC operator about it yesterday and she told me that it wasn't a real RFE; that my DS-230 pkg just had not been reviewed yet. Hang in there...we need to support each other during this tough step!

But in my case my AVR has changed since after NVC received the IV packet and even started reviewing it. So I doubt if there's something wrong there.

No matter what we need to wait until tomorrow to find out what exactly it is.

I hope you all have a good Thanksgiving. The only family I consider worthwhile are my wife and son who I'm trying to get here (and my daughter who lives on the other side of the U.S.), so I'll just sit here and quietly rage, wondering why NVC hasn't even started reviewing my packages.
