Hi friends,

Finally my case complete with nvc and also login failed (SIF)..

now waiting for interview date...

There was a email from NVC requesting to submitt pcc and in instruction it says pcc will directly go to Sydney US Consulate.

My questions /confusion:

1. Now what happens? should I wait for Sydney US consulate to contact or email me with interview date and request for pcc and medical? OR

2. Can I go for PCC now even though on Sydney US embassy website's faq states not to apply for pcc without consulate ask for?

The real reason is I called NVC and requested them to close your case, and I was told SIF and CC are 2 things. Since Debby wanted CC, ok, let's make it together!

It is time you got a SIF looking at others after you getting it. Call them up again later today. Am sure that the parrots might be in a good mood today knowing they are off tomorrow and might give some useful information :)

Disco's SIF was also delayed and he got an RFE. I am hoping and praying that you don't get one. :no:

Well, my AVR is STILL saying that documents are missing and a letter was mailed out, blah, blah, blah....but the operator I spoke to said there's no RFE at this point and I just need to wait. I'll call again on Monday...

I wonder if my packages will be entered in system at the same time... ever since it belongs to two offices. Opinions????? I sent them both in one big pack, & wrote on the pack Attn: CMR-AOS & inside were 2 folders, mine & of my husband. I hope they were clever enough to distribute my ds-230 to the other office. I'm quite concerned!! Cant wait to have the frickin' docs inside the AVR that will calm me down!!!!!!!

My AVR has suddenly changed this morning and currently saying "NVC has reviewed your packet or forms and found information missing or incomplete, NVC mailed a letter on 11/24.......blah....blah......blah"

As I told in my previous post that I was expecting SIF last night, but instead I got this missing AVR this morning.

Dear Experts, is it a real RFE? I am so anxious at this time since I can not call NVC and find out what it is until tomorrow morning.

I'm getting the same message, Malvika. I spoke to an NVC operator about it yesterday and she told me that it wasn't a real RFE; that my DS-230 pkg just had not been reviewed yet. Hang in there...we need to support each other during this tough step!

I have been receiving same message since 11/22 & Spoke to several times with NVC operator, they said my ds-230 form missing photograph, birth certificate, etc which i already submitted last week. I think this is standard message. before they have review your iv package.

I was getting this msg. in AVR when my AOS was entered and NVC was waiting for DS-230, when NVC entered my DS-230 then the AVR was "NVC has received the checklist response on............" , but since this morning it is saying that missing msg. again.

Debby, I wonder why it is taking this long to review IV package? Aren't they able to tell you anything in your case yet?

Yes, we need to support each other during this tough time.

I am so freaked out now since NVC is close today. I really wanna get over with this freakin things in NVC. Help me God !

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK
