Nope, no Sif for me but a rfe. See, i happened to be a french citizen born in germany, and my birth certicate delivered by the french consular authorities is not good enough for them :( don t know what to do except sending my birth certificate in german dated from the 04/23/1980, day i was actually born!!! Any advice?

Congrats for all the SIF today though!

My birthday mate!!!!!cooolllll

so i dont need to sent anything to them? but we did not get anything from NVC that they accpeted our COA email yet... i m so sorry im still asking again bec im worried and my english is not good as well :S

i got this email few weeks ago from the NVC after i sent the template ds 3032 and now my wife got this mail from the NVC about fees then she told me i need to mail the ds 3032 hard copy to the NVC u know the adress of NVC portsmouth NH03801

NVC operators do not know much about the visa steps.

Your IV payment confirmed DS-3032 acceptance. Without DS-3032 acceptance, they will not generate IV fee invoice.

I ended up going home for lunch. I needed to do something at the house. There was some chicken curry left over from yesterday. So i had that. No roast beef for me today. :( Maybe tomorrow.

Nov 5, 10 - Approved!! NOA 2 by email

NVC Received File - Nov recievd from uscis

Nov 16, 10 - Received Case# Called Nvc recording gave my NVC Number

Nov 17, 10 - Called NVC gave them my email and my wife email

Nov 17, 10 - Call NVC talked to person and got IIN.

Nov 18, 10 - I-864(AOS)12 fee ($88) Paid Payment IN process.

Nov 18, 10 - DS Forms Emailed Via Email for Electronic Processing recieved mail back did not take it

Nov 22, 10 - DS 3032 emailed got resoponse recieved it

Nov 22, 10 - AOS = sent via priority mail

Nov 22 , 10: IV Bill Invoiced

Nov 22 ,10 - paid IV online

Nov 24, 10 - IV= sent via priority mail

Dec 7, 10 - IV and AOS Recieved via AVR recording.

Dec 16. 10 - filled ds-260 online, as of operator said I needed and send sup doc via email.

Hello, when you sent IV to NVC, do you send anyother document with it?

Yes. Lots of other documents. Following is a listing of what I sent in. My case was simple and straight-forward. You may need to include more items like military records if such applies to you.

Original or certified copies:

  • Bar-coded cover sheet
  • Cover letter
  • Two Passport-sized photographs of the beneficiary
  • Completed and signed form DS-230 Part 1, by the beneficiary
  • Completed and unsigned form DS-230 Part 2, by the beneficiary
  • Photocopy of the biographic data page of the beneficiary's passport
  • Original marriage certificate of the beneficiary and the petitioner
  • Original birth certificate of the beneficiary
  • Original police certificates (Police Station) of the beneficiary

Copies:

  • Photocopy of the biographic data page of the beneficiary's passport
  • Photocopy of the marriage certificate of the beneficiary and the petitioner
  • Photocopy of the birth certificate of the beneficiary
  • Photocopy of the police certificates (Police Station) of the beneficiary

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

Once NVC completes your case, they foward everything to your embassy. And you get everything back on interview day.

After NVC case completion, all the docs will be forwarded to the Consulate. After Consulate interview, CO will hand over all the originals back to the beneficiary. If they forget by mistake, just remind them after the interview.

Just to be clear, how do I know when my case is complete? Looking at the LingChe Shortcut and it says they will contact me. Is this via eMail? Snail-Mail? Will they contact me or my attourney? Will the AVR tell me the case is complete or do I need to speak to a person?

I got DHL on my favorites list and I'm ready to track shipments destined to Ireland!

19 Oct, 2010: RFE (Beneficiary's Original Birth Cert, Original Marriage Cert, DS-2019 from previous J1 VISA)

02 Nov, 2010: RFE Delivered to NVC (Signed by Desmond)

16 Nov, 2010: Checklist for RFE entered into NVC System (via AVR)

On AVRS you will hear this message: "... your Case was completed on [date]...Please allow 8 weeks for further instructions..." That's your queue for CC. Alternatively, you could call and talk to NVC operator as often as you like and find out through that channel. Within a few days of the above message, you will get a case-has-been-forwarded-on-date message. That's you queue to go wild with DHL tracking trick.
