For those who received the checklist email, did you guys had the AVR message of missing documents, my AOS was entered on 11/15 and yesterday's AVR message mention missing documents...

I will call today , just want to check with you folks, thanks and congratulation to those with SIF and good luck to those with December interviews

From the date you mail or transmit the requested information, please allow 20 business days for NVC to

review this documentation/your mail. When we complete our review, the NVC will notify

you/petitioner/beneficiary/attorney with information regarding the next processing step.

If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by e-mail, telephone, or mail), all

submitted fees and documents will expire. Upon expiration, the fees and documents would need to

be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case.

Yes. I had the AVRS message since 11/16/2010. I got the email on 11/21/2010. Of course I knew that my DS230 was missing because they haven't scanned it. They scanned it on 11/17/2010. Since then my message is NVC has received the checklist response.

Like me, your DS230 is missing because they haven't scanned it. Tell me the day NVC received your DS230 package and I can give you a pretty accurate estimate of when they'll scan your DS230 and tie it to your case number.

PSA: LET'S EVERYONE BE CLEAR THAT NVC'S EMAIL SYSTEM SUCKS. IF THEY SENT YOU AN EMAIL NOW, IT WILL STAY WILL SLEEP IN THEIR OUTBOX FOR A WEEK BEFORE IT GETS MAILED WHICH DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF IT BEING AN EMAIL.

I spoke to a live operator today.

She told me to disregard the checklist email - my DS-230 is currently under review.

Thanks IS, NVC received my DS230 on 11/8 i am just afraid that they will loose my AOS documents, same thing happen with my mom's case, she petitioned for my sisters and I was the joint sponsor, they just emailed her a checklist with missing documents that i already submitted.. ughhhhhh.

Let's hope they don't lose your package. It'll be fine, IMO. Don't stress too much. Since NVC received your IV on 08-NOV-2010, you can expect your IV to be scanned by today or tomorrow. If they scan it today, you won't hear about it until tomorrow. And if they scann it tomorrow, then you won't hear about it until Wednesday.

My AVRS has changed to Documents missing.....but AVRS mentioned the date on 11/17/2010. Crazy NVC lol. I sent out my IV & AOS package on 11/18/2010, USPS delivered on 11/19/2010. I already knew that AVRS giving me wrong INFO cus i never send any documents except DS3032( which accepted on last August, 10 2010) So i did spoke to Operator last friday on 11/20/2010, she said, they just received my package & i have photo missing on DS-230. She also said i could send them with same cover sheet.
