I'm just deciding to keep quiet and be patient. I have my daily dose of NVC ("still no record of case") and every other day of VJ just to see timelines. Watching you freak out freaks me out enough already :devil:
I usually get semi attached to my online buddies. I miss you guys if I don't hear ..er read your post and see you freaking out.

I thought packet 4 would come in an e-mail...it doesn't?

Some Consulates may be sending Packet4 electronically, I don't know.

But, we got regular mail from the Consulate with appointment letter, medical, docs checklist etc. yesterday.

Only to Indian audience

She completed VFS office visit today. She didn't hand over any documents to VFS. In fact, VFS just verified all docs submitted to NVC, that's all. She showed her appointment letter, passport to VFS office, paid Rs.387 courier fee and collected the receipt from them. Also, told VFS that the medical will be few days before the interview.

Mehdi, Congrats for SIF :thumbs:

They will wrap up your case in few day and assign the interview date and will forward it to the Consulate.

Call NVC operator every day to see the progress.

Alternatively, you can call DOS - Get a Human! 202-663-1225 Press 1 then 0 for a live operator.

Once you get the NVC left date, there is a DHL site to track the shipment.

Since your Consulate is not that busy, possibility is there for a late Dec. interview.

Everyone keep that NVC TRACKER spreadsheet updated. Looks like you get a SIF after a week of NVC receiving all of your craps. That's good news for me because now I can be hopeful of a SIF before Thanksgiving.

Congrats on SIF

Dear VJ's,

I didn't send my wife & child photograph while sent out DS-230. I need to know if i can send them now since NVC has received my IV Package on11-18-2010.(yesterday). I know I could get checklist letter after two weeks later, as i want to save time. NVC already took 3 months to process my case & i dont want them chance to do so. Please help.

well my DS-230 was entered in the system on the 12th, i m waiting for the SIF and case complete, hopefully next week.

About the embassy, i thought it wouldn t be busy, but i know a vjmember (dijonne), she got her appointment letter a couple of weeks ago, and it s the 21st of december! so, i definitely gave up the idea of having the interview in december....hopefuly in january though, and not february :(
