Congrats to all guys again who make progress in NVC and good luck to all waiting here :thumbs:

I hope to make some progress when I get an original signature, Part I DS230 from my wife. She sent a copy :bonk: which took 10 days. She sent another DS230, with the original signature :wacko: (I hope), which I should get in a couple of days. Will be a big relief :blink: to sent in all these documents, finally. :star:

Hey guys i got the IV instruction packet emailed to me yesterday around noon.

Heres the excerpt:

[November 16, 2010

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) has received all required fee payments for the immigrant visa case of __________. Each applicant must now complete an Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration. Please go to the Department of State website at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and follow the instructions displayed.

Pay particular attention to the requirements for police certificates. In some cases specific forms must be used to request and obtain required police certificate(s).

IMPORTANT:

E-Mail Processing may be either mandatory or chosen by the principal applicant for this case. If E-Mail Processing does apply to this case the required form(s) and documents must be scanned and submitted by e-mail to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

If E-Mail Processing does not apply you must return the enclosed barcode cover sheet with the required form(s) and civil documents to:

National Visa Center ATTN: CMR 31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914]

I called the AVR and it just says that they sent this package out on 11-16, however they still do not acknowledge the AOS that they got on 11-05, so hopefully early next week it should be in the system and then the IV hopefully the week after.

Could i have chosen to process by email, based on the letter it gives you an option? I dont think you can for UK nationals.

And i just realized Ladydare and I are tied up same dates for everything!!i have a wing man Sweet!!!!!!!!!

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

11/19/10: AOS entered into System.

11/29/10: IV Entered into System

My husband got the same email as well...I told him to ignore it as we have already sent in the requirements. Yes we are tied we were approved on the same date and seem to be sending docs to NVC at the same time. Sweet. Wishing you all the best.

My AVR message has not changed yet. It's still saying "The NVC has reviewed a packet or forms and found information missing......blah blah blah". Hopefully they scanned my IV today and the AVR will change tomorrow morning. :(

Still a long way to go...............IV reviewing------->Case completing-------->Interview Scheduling------------>Medical------------->Interview---------->Departing

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

ive ignored it for my case.

So the days are coming closer for you trip the India.? excited?

My husband got the same email as well...I told him to ignore it as we have already sent in the requirements. Yes we are tied we were approved on the same date and seem to be sending docs to NVC at the same time. Sweet. Wishing you all the best.

Yes, Consulate yesterday delivered Packet4 to the local address. Mail man delivered it to one of our relative's address. He forwarded it to our home. I think I should write it in my timeline ;)

Excited, KVP. 2 more weeks to go. I am keeping busy because bidding 3 new contracts now. I'll be in new contract after the vacation. Brushing up some old memories for interviews :P

5) Social Security Information sheet

Also, my wife is visiting VFS office today. They basically return the passport back and we need to pay around $9 to them and get the receipt for it - just India topic.

We are STILL waiting for our RFE checklist to come in the mail. It was sent out on the 10th...and still nothing. My DS-230 is all ready to go and has been staring at me in the face for a week now, just waiting for it to be overnighted...please please please let it come today! :crying:

2012-11-30: Notice to file I-751 received

2012-12-12: I-751 (Remove of Conditions) sent

2013-08-16: Conditions removed. 10 year Permanent Resident Card received

The RFE had a MAJOR impact on the process. I was initially expecting a CC around the 24th of October. I found out about the RFE by chance through my occasinal calls to the NVC AVR. I had to wait for the letter to arrive snail mail, and resubmit the requested documents. the turn around time once the RFE was in hand was less than 9 business hours however... It took them 2 weeks to upload the submitted documents into the system. You can see from my timeline in my signature that I am still waiting for my CC.

My wishes for a Dec interview and happy christmas has been shattered and I am now hoping for a Jan interview.

USCIS

11 Mar, 2010: Submit I-130 Package to USCIS (Hired Immigration Lawyer)

22 Mar, 2010: Received by USCIS

30 Mar, 2010: Received NOA1

30 Jul, 2010: Received NOA2

NVC

19 Aug, 2010: AOS & IV fee payment processed

29 Sep, 2010: DS-230/I-864 Entered into NVC System.

19 Oct, 2010: RFE (Beneficiary's Original Birth Cert, Original Marriage Cert, DS-2019 from previous J1 VISA)

02 Nov, 2010: RFE Delivered to NVC (Signed by Desmond)

16 Nov, 2010: Checklist for RFE entered into NVC System (via AVR)

23 Nov, 2010: "Sign In Failed"! Yay!

23 Nov, 2010: Case Complete

07 Dec, 2010: Assigned an interview Date

US Consulate

04 Jan, 2011: Medical

18 Jan, 2011: Interview

31 Jan, 2011: Visa in hand
