10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

I just got through the AVR and got a message saying that NVC received a packet from us but information is missing and a list was generated on 11/16... I don't know if I should be happy or just be greatful something is happening... I will call later to speak with an operator and get more info.

Basically, it's the same issues as me and others. They finished reviewing your AOS. Now they are waiting for IV, which hasn't been scanned, yet.

Basically, it's the same issues as me and others. They finished reviewing your AOS. Now they are waiting for IV, which hasn't been scanned, yet.

You are so right IS, I spoke with a nice NVC operator and that is exactly what it is happening...well hoping for the best in the next few days before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Call NVC again. It is confirmed. They don't have the IV package in the system yet. Only AOS. The RFE is basically saying that they don't have IV. Can someone who got this false RFE call NVC and confirm what I just found out. I'm feeling pretty crappy now.

Loto, is there something I can do to move this along? Or are we just going to have to sit tight and let the thing take its course.

Let's hope. The day started out so good for me. Now it's going down the hill...

But how do we know SOL's IV is entered into the system. Sol, buddy, bud, friend, did you call NVC and talked to a live person? Did they confirm your IV was entered? What does your AVRS message say now?

Indi...relax!!!! You're gonna give yourself an ulcer! I got the false RFE too, remember? I spoke to the NVC operator and his explanation made more sense than yours (read my post from yesterday morning http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/276525-nvc-filers-for-october-2010/page__view__findpost__p__4293993 ).

If they still didn't have your IV info in the system, the AVR message probably would not have changed from "waiting for biographic information" (or whatever the exact wording is). Just chill and wait to see what next Monday brings....you're making me nervous! :wacko::bonk:

Debby, what does your AVR say now?

I'll call tomorrow morning from work (like Indi, I have a VOIP phone that makes it very easy to re-dial) and let everyone know what the AVR says. I have a feeling that the message won't change until they start actually reviewing the DS-230. All I know is that I was told it was scanned in and connected to my case. The next message in the AVR progression should be "all packets received and under review". But I'm predicting that I won't get that message until next week. I'll definitely let you all know ! :)

when I call the AVR i get " a packet of information was generated on Nov 15th and will be sent blahblahblah 6-8 wks" .. i sent in both the AOS and IV .. so theyre just saying that they sent out info and they havent received anything yet?

My AVR is saying the same thing..I sent in the AOS and IV packet on Nov 8 & 15
