I'm debating if I should. Now, though, there's a bit of gray area of what this nonsense operator said might be untruth. But if I call and the same thing is confirmed, then I'll just feel more worse. Ignorance is bliss. I shouldn't have called NVC today. I should've waited until Friday night just like I promised on Monday.

Indi, Don't worry my friend. If it didn't happen yesterday then it will happen today. Did you notice Jon and sol's IV is entered today, it was received on 11/03. Yours was received on 11/04. So it should be entered today and mine will follow too

Call NVC again. It is confirmed. They don't have the IV package in the system yet. Only AOS. The RFE is basically saying that they don't have IV. Can someone who got this false RFE call NVC and confirm what I just found out. I'm feeling pretty crappy now.

Loto, is there something I can do to move this along? Or are we just going to have to sit tight and let the thing take its course.

But how do we know SOL's IV is entered into the system. Sol, buddy, bud, friend, did you call NVC and talked to a live person? Did they confirm your IV was entered? What does your AVRS message say now?

Oh Boy !

As you can see in my timeline my AOS was received by NVC on 10/28 and was entered on system 11/08. I haven't heard anything yet from NVC about AOS, does this mean that I didn't have any RFE on my AOS? Hope so !

I'm the 'Jon' half, Sol is the Mrs. :-)

I called the AVRS this morning, which informed me they had received the biographic information on 11/16, and that they were awaiting the AOS. I then called and spoke to an operator, who told me they had received two packages from me, one 11/16, the other 11/17, and that I was to wait 2-4 weeks for them to review the packages.

@malvika: I'm about 100% sure that you haven't received a RFE on AOS package. If you count your household size more than it should be, then it means your salary better be enough to cover these people. Your household is 2. But you ended up saying it's 3. As long as you salary/asset is 125% of what's required for 3 people, you're fine. Don't worry about it.

What you should be worrying about is IV package. Well, you shouldn't be worrying. But be curious about it. Can you call NVC and talk to alive person? I just want someone else to confirm what I found out. I still can't believe it. Friggin' hell. Even though I talked to two NVC guys already today.

I have been trying NVC line since 30 mins. now. It's not going through

Just spoke with a nice lady @NVC. She confirmed that they completed reviewing my AOS yesterday and it's perfect and good to go and now they are waiting for IV package. Which means they haven't scanned it to the system yet. I asked her I have sent IV package on 11/04 and do you think possibly it will be entered this week? Then she said hopefully

Maybe it's my office phone. I get through within 10 rapid tries. Always. But I can't ever get through using gmail or my cellphone or home phone. My work phone is VOIP. It's got one button for ending the call and redialing. As soon as I her the busy signal, I press the button successively twice. First ends the call, second dials again. i always get in.

We got an RFE. They weren't too up on the DS-260 process and now require us to fill out the DS-230 and resubmit it. I had to try and go back 6 months of visits to the United States and fill out a table. I finished that yesterday...I only did 6 months, as its impossible to fill out every visit I have made to the U.S.

I think we have to wait for our checklist to come in the mail before we can send it to NVC. It was apparently sent on Nov 10th, so any day now it should arrive.

Aye! That's good news. See I told you that you didn't get any RFE on AOS. Basically we learned that it takes NVC about 8 days to review AOS after getting the package scanned into their system. If same hols true for IV and we get out IV entered today or tomorrorw, we could possibly still get SIF/CC before Thanksgiving.
