Honestly, I didn't know what you mean by "a freebie." So I left it off. But I just added a NOTE/COMMENT column and added your comment back in. Once everyone finishes up entering the data, will try to make some information out of it. i think most of us are needing to know how long it will take before NVC enters IV into the system. AOS takes about 13 days.

It's taking about 13 days for IV to be tied to case number from the day it was sent. By that count, my IV Should be in the system on Wednesday. FU. I was hoping for today.

I had a RFE that was delivered back to NVC almost 2 weeks ago. What's going on?? It seems like they are slowing down AND issuing more RFEs to everyone! the AVR doesn't even acknowledge the receipt of my RFE.

I had a RFE that was delivered back to NVC almost 2 weeks ago. What's going on?? It seems like they are slowing down AND issuing more RFEs to everyone! the AVR doesn't even acknowledge the receipt of my RFE.

Whenever you send a package to NVC (regular or RFE), it takes around 2 weeks for them to enter. AVR is not so reliable, talk to an operator.

Called NVC today and asked the agent if the AOS package was in the system, that was received on 11/08 at NVC. All i he could say its not in the system and to wait?

Latter on my wife got an email saying this:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (
NVC
).

The
NVC
has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the
NVC
(by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Sincerely,

Kylee]

Does this mean the AOS is in the system.

Also i have not got anything in the mail with regard to the AOS and IV packages. I have sent and paid everything.

This is the delayed email from NVC that your DS-3032 is accepted.

You have already invoiced IV fee (that means DS-3032 was accepted at that time), paid, and mailed out IV packages. So, no worries!

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

Just got off the phone with the NVC...my DS-230 was entered into the system today and is currently under review...finally!!! It's exactly 2 weeks after it was signed for by the NVC. She also told me that my AOS package was approved....woohoo!!!!!!! One baby step closer!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
