guys - in submitting rfe at nvc...do i need to include the whole package of checklist letter or just the barcoded cover letter and the missing documents?? pls reply tnx

Good Morning Folks !

I wonder where have our VJ folks been today?

I am trying to keep track of NVC timelines with some major dates and put them together in a worksheet so that it will be much easier for us to keep an eye on the timelines. I urge everybody to fill in their timeline and re-post the table. Hopefully the table won't be messed.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

I never get any auto response from NVC, I just talked to a nice lady. She said that they just sent out the DS 3032 Friday 15th, I told her that we emailed it back in the same day but no auto response. Then she asked me to hold, and then came back and told me that something was wrong with the system and to send it again. I just did still no response since 2 hours. I will send it from another email. Tried the 'Sue' route too. Good thing I expressed mailed in Sat- so hopefully by the end of the week it will be in the system if emailing fails.

AOS is delivered today - IV is ready to go as soon as bill is invoiced is paid.

What did I tell you. No change. IV hasn't been tied to NVC case yet. Shouldn't they be done with AOS by now? It's been 1 week since they got it into their system. I always end up talking with the drunk guy. Between his hurried and slurring voice, I never get a chance to ask what I want to ask. Grrr. Make some prediction for me.

I called NVC this morning and the AVR still saying "NVC is waiting on return of biographic information from the petitioner, once NVC receives these documents please allow 6-8 weeks for NVC to review all your documents and you will be notified of the outcome of review" ####### !

I called NVC this morning and the AVR still saying "NVC is waiting on return of biographic information from the petitioner, once NVC receives these documents please allow 6-8 weeks for NVC to review all your documents and you will be notified of the outcome of review" ####### !

I just called and talked to an actual person. THey told me last week to call back this week because our AOS packets should be in because it takes 1-2 weeks after they received them. The person just told me that now it is taking 20 business days. I asked him why they had told me 1-2 weeks last week and they said that it was 20 business days now.

Now that my husband is a citizen, we are preparting documents to apply to bring his parents here.

10/06/10: Approval Date

10/12/10: NVC Case# generated

10/22/10: Updated both email ids. DS-3032 e-mailed
