You don't have to include your NOA1 or NOA2 with your AOS or IV package. NVC already knows about your NOA1, NOA2. How else do you think they generate you a NVC case number.

Okay so I called Nvc and spoke with a live person yesterday and she said that neither the AOS or IV packet had been entered into their system yet :-P

But when I called AVR today I get this message:

"a packet of information was sent out to the agent on Nov 3rd, and will reach the agent within 2 weeks, please fill this out and send back to NVC, if you do not get this packet within 2 weeks, please contact us..."

That is what I remember and it's not word for word but something along those lines. Has anyone else received this in their AVR and/or knows what it means?? I really hope it's not a RFE I hope it's just a late message stating that their sending us instructions on how to do the AOS and IV packet

Since you are getting the "a packet of info..." message, neither your AOS or IV has been tied to your NVC case yet. You sent your AOS on 10/29, your AOS should be entered into the system today. So call back tomorrow around lunch time. You should hear a new message. It will say NVC is now waiting for bio. package from lawyers. That's the IV packet. Again, you want to allow 12 days from delivery date for it to be in NVC system. You sent your IV on 11/4. So you IV should be in by 11/16. It might take a few more days since NVC is closed on 11/11 for Veterans Day. Until then, sit tight and don't waste your time calling NVC and holding on for dozens of minutes to talk to a person. Unless you believe AVRS is wrong. Then by all means call them as often as you like.

What you are hearing on AVRS now is not an RFE. It's merely saying your IV fee has been paid and you should send your IV package. IV = Bio package. Trust me. I speak the truth.

I had my girl sign a couple of the ds230 months ago, but had to make a couple of changes.

I received another original today, but the one thing she sent page 2, was a copy. Now this will be another 8 days and another $30 to get an original signature.

I know it is pain, mainly postal delay and losing some days.

She can download the form (may be few copies), sign it and mail back to you by express mail.

It looks like they are scheduling interviews (at least in my case) 2nd or 3rd week of this month. Since they have forwarded it, I am not worrying much now.

Yep, being proactive is the way to go with NVC. Call everyday at least once and keep asking them.."is my IV information entered in your system ? and why is it taking so long ? "

Wow spoke to the worst operator ever..she was in such a hurry. But she did provide me the information finally saying that they received the AOS package with tax returns and blah blah blah. I asked about the IV package and she said call back in 2-4 weeks. I guess i keep calling everyday now as it seems that my packages have been entered into the System on Nov 1st. Yay!!!! almost 2 weeks r going to be done this friday. So starting next week I will be calling more frequently. LOL!!

I wonder it took only 5 days to complete your case after they received your IV package and 10 days to forward your case to your embassy after case completion, but why are they taking this long to schedule an interview?

Loto I don't understand one thing. Shouldn't NVC first schedule interview with consulate and then forward the file to consulate office abroad?

I spoke to an live operator today. He was very courteous.

He told that on the 8th "something" was inputted & within 2 weeks I should be "getting an update" but he couldn't tell if it was the AOS or IV package. Now that there is activity on our case - hopefully we will hear something soon.
