Just spoke to them and they said allow 2-4 weeks for us to review the sent package to see what's in it. My luck sucks nothing seems to happen on time
John, John, John. Have you not learned anything by now? NVC always gives you the 2-4 weeks line on everything. Much like the same way USCIS says they're still processing March 19th's case files. It's corporate shenenigan. Once they have the AOS/IV in the system, it takes about a week or so to process them. Wtihout RFE, you can expect Case Complete in 10-12 days.

So based on what i have read, i doesnt seem like my wife will get a December interview. Since the AOS and IV packages seem to take anywhere to between 2 weeks and 4 weeks to process once received. top it off it looks like the IV fee processing takes to two day to be in a Paid status. So i wont be able to send the IV package till tale this week (earliest this Friday or latest Monday)

Man some one cheer me up!

NVC

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

It is kind of frustrating that it takes this long to just open the stupid package and send to appropriate department. I am just mad right now thats about it. Sorry guys :(

Finally spoke with NVC after numerious attempt. Like Indigo and Tabndan, my AOS package was entered on 11/08 as well. The guy told me to allow 2-4 weeks to process AOS. But they still haven't received my IV package. At least something is happening :)

I hear what you are saying and I agree with you...slackers :bonk: this precess should be faster. Imagine if we did not have VJ to rely on :unsure: it would be terrible...we just need to ask God for some extra patience. My husband just about had it too :devil: hang in there and dont give up.

malvi, you are at least 10-20 days ahead of me. Who knows when my AOS and IV will be entered into the system. You have excellent chance of getting December interview.

Can't say the same about mine; just hoping, praying, begging US embassy in Nepal schedules the interviews on their end.

On another notice, I just can't get through to NVC today? Does anyone know a good time to call to get through to AVR?

I was also having hard time connecting NVC this morning, but finally (after almost 151 attempts :D) I got through. The only thing I can say is 'Try...Try...and try"....you will get it

The best time to call AVR is after midnite or before 7:00 AM as the NVC closes beyond that time.

one more question,

Can we request US embassy in Nepal via email to schedule interview at an earliest once our case is forwarded to Embassy?

You are not that far behind than me. it's just a matter of week.

If you just want the AVRS, calling when NVC is closed is a good idea. Calling earlier in the morning is also a good time. Whatever you do, don't call them after 1700 and before 2100 at night. It's hell. Last night I had to redial 97 times to get through at 1900. I didn't want to give up. Even if it had taken 970 redials, I was going to get through. But I'm never going to do that again.

Ok, so I got some further assistance from another operator today. Seems the numbers on #25 were off. Which...get this...my turbotax says $1 (yes, literally $1) different than the IRS transcript for one year. Therefore, they RFE'd me. So I guess tonight I will be working on another employer letter and the loverly I-864. I'm so use to the abbreviations on here that when I spoke to the operator I said things like, "AVR, RFE, AOS, and IV". I wonder if she knew what site I use :P My IV hasn't been entered yet but she said next week would be a good time to check. So Indigo- there is a closer prediction for you from an operator.

Now you're worrying me, Teya! I used I864EZ form. There was no #25. I used the exact same number from my Tax Return Transcripts on the form. But my salary went up this year. So the employee verification letter lists my current salary. #######! Now I'm worried. I don't want no stinking RFE.

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)

I was also able to add her to the group health insurance plan as it is the open enrollment period and plan to provide that proof as well. She is also the sole benficiary for the Life insurance plan.

Also, if you have any specific ones, that's not in the list, get them as well. I read in one post today, one person got denial letter due to the unavailability of the phone log.

2013-01-22 : I-751 packet sent by USPS express mail

2013-01-23 : Packet received at USCIS

2013-01-24 : I-751 Notice date

2013-01-24 : Check Cashed

2013-02-06 : FP notice received (FP date: 02/22/2013)
