NVC FILERS - FOR October - 2010

NVC has my AOS package into the system. They entered it in yesterday. Nov 8, 2010. Yay. It took 12 days for them to do that. The bio page that AVRS says is DS230 form. So NVC is waiting for my IV package. But it's sitting in their mailroom. Usually IV takes less time to enter into system then does AOS. So I'm hoping for one more good news this week.

"If IV and AOS gets entered into the system this week, I'd feel pretty confident about a December interview. So I'm praying and hoping."

BTW, do you think if our cases completes by the mid of Nov, do we have chance of Dec. interview? I heard NVC only schedules interview for next month during first two weeks of current month. How true is that?

I don't know about your embassy but I have heard that Dhaka embassy schedules interview through out the month. I'm might get a interview mid-December or later December. But then there's a bunch of holidays at the end of Dec. So it might be a early January interview. But for now, my stern hope is that it's a Decemer interview.

What stage am I at if is says "nvc received documents on Nov 1st blah blah Plz allow 6-8 weeks for a response " any ideas???

Your AOS and IV hasn't been entered into the system yet. Don't worry about the message. You just sit tight for now and wait for them to enter the AOS and IV. My AOS took 12 days since the day I sent it to be into the system. I'm still waiting on IV. So you're in this stage now. You sent your AOS on 10/22. Today is 11/09. So that's 19 days. Your AOS should've be in the system now. Call NVC and find out if it's in the system yet or not. Edited November 9, 2010 by IndigoSkies

Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! All having any interest in my immigration process are admonished to draw near. AVRS is now asking for bio page from laywer. I'm freaking eccstatic. That means my AOS has been entered into the sytem. I think. i'll call again now and ask for a human being. Stay tuned.

You can call and find out on which day they entered your AOS into the computer. For timeline purpose. Speaking of calling NVC, last night I made the unfortunate decision to call them at 19:00. I had to spam-call them 97 times before being connected. Never doing that again.

Well, I called the AVR on Thursday and it was still on the first stages (fee have been received) then I called Sunday night and the AVR said "biographical data..." So, through power of deduction, I'm assuming it was entered on Friday.

Just spoke to them and they said allow 2-4 weeks for us to review the sent package to see what's in it
