Yes, if all paperwork is completed at NVC in another 4 weeks time. It depends on Consulate load as well. I think Manila has same load as ours. Pl guys will give better picture.

Just spoke to the wife and she said the Embassy has our Certificed Marriage Certificate. So now we wait and see what the courier brings. Hopefully we will know in a week to 10 days. :wacko::wacko: I feel good that the VISA will be approved and included with the Passport. I just hope the next thing I am waiting for it the plane to land...I feel so tired ...of all this...

Good news for you Tom! :thumbs:

So my 2 RFE's are re-frickin-diculous. The 1st one was that they need a letter from my employer or recent pay stubs. I included a letter from my employer because they are a small business and don't do pay stubs. *Sigh* Then I got an RFE (and have to refill out and send in the I-864) for marking #25 incorrectly. That would be the question about whether you are only including this year's tax transcripts or for all 3 years. I had checked both because I had included all 3 years. I must not have corrected that before I sent it in. Obviously I am using all 3 years if I sent in all 3 years but whatever. At least they only need new stuff from me and not the co-sponsor. Stupid NVC. On the other hand, no one caught the over-information that should've received an RFE. Oh, and my DS230 isn't in their system yet so...that shall be some more RFE's :P:thumbs::rofl: Good thing I wasn't expecting December.

I too am hoping for a January (or earlier) interview.

NVC received my case on 10/8, I receive my case # on 10/13, paid AOS bill on 10/25, AOS package delivered/received on 10/28, paid IV bill on 10/28, IV Package delivered/received on 11/1, I have received 9 emails from NVC - but my case# is still NOT in the AVRS & no sif yet.

I think that the wait in NVC is more stressful than USCIS but I am being patient. :bonk:

lady_bug, NVC typically schedules interview during the first two weeks of the month for the following month. In order to be considered for an interview your NVC package needs to have been SIF and received final review & Package Complete during or before that window. Your package looks like you're on track to receive a January interview just get the RFE cleared up and your good to go. Although December is a lower month for productivity with most companies I don't think it will affect you much. Good Luck and be really and Keep smilin...

Thanks Kim. It was a bit disappointing at first but I don't think it will slow us down and she can still fly here on Dec 1. However I am not sure 100% just trying to be optimistic. It would have been better to just receive those words " Your VISA is Approved" during the interview. Unfortunately now we are waiting for the courier to bring that information to the house. Hopefully this week but we still have time (20days). So glad I gave her the extra time when I purchased the ticket to fly here.

My situation is minor compared to what you had to deal with. You have an interview now date right? Some times we do all we can do and some off the wall event occurs that we could not have imagined or prepared for. Unfortunately that's what happened to you and your husband.. Hope this is over for you soon. Gods Speed

I'm still waiting for NVC to enter my AOS and IV into the system. AOS has been sitting at their mail room for 13 days now. And IV only 6 days. Why is my AOS taking so long to be entered into the system? I don't think I did anything wrong. What's going on? It's pretty difficult for me to freak out but should I freak out now? And if I do freak out, is there anything I can do?
