I am busting at a gut! My husband got his interview email today, and it is for November 18th!!!!!! We may get lucky enough for him to fly in for Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!!!! It is a great day! :)

Thanks, Loto. Good to know at least some things work at NVC :) Good that your packet has reached Chennai. You interview date should be any minute now, probably you will come to know of it during one of your NVC calls.

Called to see if AOS packet information has been entered in to their system, but it has not been and I know people who sent before me are waiting. I am going to be on this diet plan of making one call every day to NVC just like you do. Hopefully this diet keeps me fit for the next few weeks :)

Good news for you Tom! :thumbs:

So my 2 RFE's are re-frickin-diculous. The 1st one was that they need a letter from my employer or recent pay stubs. I included a letter from my employer because they are a small business and don't do pay stubs. *Sigh* Then I got an RFE (and have to refill out and send in the I-864) for marking #25 incorrectly. That would be the question about whether you are only including this year's tax transcripts or for all 3 years. I had checked both because I had included all 3 years. I must not have corrected that before I sent it in. Obviously I am using all 3 years if I sent in all 3 years but whatever. At least they only need new stuff from me and not the co-sponsor. Stupid NVC. On the other hand, no one caught the over-information that should've received an RFE. Oh, and my DS230 isn't in their system yet so...that shall be some more RFE's :P:thumbs::rofl: Good thing I wasn't expecting December.

i checked both as well .. are you only supposed to check the 2nd box? i dont think their instructions are always very clear, or i overthink them..

Calling NVC every day must be our routine plan :)

I am preparing a long list of documents for wifey to express mail today, that include extensive secondary evidences of the marriage, my documents, step by step guide for her to proceed for VFS, Medical and Interview :) I told her now my play is over, it's all yours. The reply was I don't know all these 'sh*t'. Please spoon feed me everything. But I am sure she will present the interview well herself.

Good part is she has never read 2 guides I created in VJ. May be her policy is "if one reads more, more will be confused" :D

Mine was electronic too. I printed the signature pages, signed them, scanned them, put them back together with the rest of the docs and emailed it. Very picky. Maybe using a script font where it kind of looks like handwriting would do...then again, I don't know if the pdf's allow different fonts than the defaults.

Teya, hopefully they'll be nice when they review your ds-230!

i thought that as long as documents were in the native language of the embassy then you didnt have to get them translated to english?

im hoping & praying for no more RFE's along the way for anyone

and that the NVC puts their butt in gear so that all of us can be with our loved ones soon

and congrads to everyone that has advanced in the process or that have finished with it ! :)

Thanks solteq! I'm sure that one was riddled with issues as well. I know I am human and mistakes. I was expecting to receive RFEs for my I-130 and was pleasently suprised not to have any. So I guess I must be getting them now :P Hey, at least they have input my AOS info and are working on it. Others are still waiting for their packets to be input.

What is VFS Loto? wacko.gif

In India, this agency validates the documents for the visa and deliver the visa stamped passport back to the applicant.

It may not be applicable to you.

My long list kills me and I don't think I can express mail it today :star:

If anybody is interested, I can share the document coversheet, so that you may use it to send to your beneficiary after you additions and/or deletions.

For the rest of you I would not worry until it hits you. Besides once you send it its too late to worry. The time for diligence in before it goes to them... But listen to me I got smacked down in the last round.. But We get up again right... :thumbs:

I am busting at a gut! My husband got his interview email today, and it is for November 18th!!!!!! We may get lucky enough for him to fly in for Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!!!! It is a great day! :)

OMG THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats...

- AOS bill and Agent forms received & Paid 8/03/10

- Email DS 3032 8/04/10

- AOS Package Delivered to NVC 8/9/10

- IV Bill Received & Paid; 8/11/10

- IV Pack Received at NVC 8/16/10

- IV Pkg Entered into AVR System 8/19/10

- NVC SIF 9/9/10

- Case Complete, 9/13/10 w/questions on lack of income

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy, Manila

- Waiting Medical completed 10/27/10

- Interview Date 11/3/10 Wife didn't have NSO Marriage Certificate, No Approval OMG!!!

- NSO Certificate received by Embassy on 11/5/2010

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)
