Please help !

Looking at Teya's RFE related post about I-864 above I am concerned about mine as well. Whether I did it wrong or not, please shed some lights here !

I have sent my 2009, 2008 and 2007 tax return and tax transcript with AOS packet and have checked both boxes in Q. 25 below: -

Did I do right?

25. Federal income tax return information.

I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

(Optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for mysecond and third most recent tax years.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

Yes that's what I did too. Checked both boxes and provided last 3 years tax transcripts.

I saw today one guys (Barcelona - VJ member) got an RFE for NOT hand-writing his full name on I-864. He corrected and resent it, but he is in Electronic processing.

I typed my full name, but had no issues. So, I would suggest everybody who haven't yet mailed AOS, to hand write the name with the signature.

Maybe the NVC is training a whole new batch of reviewers to help offset the load when experienced reviewers are on vacation in December.

I am busting at a gut! My husband got his interview email today, and it is for November 18th!!!!!! We may get lucky enough for him to fly in for Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!!!! It is a great day! :)

Yeah, yeah, NVC is joke :)

That's why I didn't send the religious marriage certificate to them. It had the marriage date 1 day before the official civil marriage date. If I had sent it, they won't understand this "local custom" fact and would say, buddy, you have conflict in the marriage date. So, I kept it myself and wifey will provide it to the Consulate at interview time, because they know more about the local custom.

My IV packet was delivered this afternoon. Guess NVC has a process to get back mails that were not delivered on Saturday.

I am thinking it will get redelivered on Monday and like you said am sure a lot of their mail comes on Saturday's too and they should have a policy to handle stuff. I gave the USPS folks a piece of my mind and I guess they are refunding me the next day charge.

As such, I doubt NVC would have taken any action had it reached Friday. The way they have been processing stuff lately, everything is up in the air.

Also, received my IV email this morning and the AVR says, the fees have been received...blah..blah..blah

I am busting at a gut! My husband got his interview email today, and it is for November 18th!!!!!! We may get lucky enough for him to fly in for Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!!!! It is a great day! :)

November 18th interview email is received on Nov. 08? Just 10 days ago? Then I also have chance of December Interview wow :D

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK
