do you happen to know if Islamabad scheduled interview the following month, or two months later ? I am in early NVC stage - no IIN yet - trying to forecast if I Can get a Jan interview or not. Any thoughts ?

If you have time, you can do this. Also, if your consulate publishes the interview list month by month.

Pick some 10 IR1/CR1 Cases from the Consulate site.

Feed into NVC AVR and see when it was forwarded to the Consulate.

Then take an average to derive the no. of days between the NVC Left and Interview date.

I know it is tedious, but will give a true picture :)

Just spoke to the wife and she said the Embassy has our Certificed Marriage Certificate. So now we wait and see what the courier brings. Hopefully we will know in a week to 10 days. :wacko::wacko: I feel good that the VISA will be approved and included with the Passport. I just hope the next thing I am waiting for it the plane to land...I feel so tired ...of all this...

My IV application status is PAID! Apparently, I have to submit the DS-230 online...not like electronic processing but tehy call it the DS-260. I still have to send in all my originals and copies of supporting documentation but I guess I just print out the confirmation page after I'm done and send it along with the cover sheet. Interesting.....

Nov 18, 10 - I-864(AOS)12 fee ($88) Paid Payment IN process.

I just recently called NVC..and the operator said that.. its our AOS..we have incomplete info..they need my husband 2009 IRS tax..but actually its included in our AOS that weve sent to themhows that??? Why is that happen??? And they dont know when they goin to send the checklist letter because they are still reviewing our ds230 and our NBI what do I need to ask them?? Do I need to speak to their supervisor???

Most people are getting their AOS package checked and entered into the system by 11 days it seems like. I sent mine on 27-OCT. So today (Nov 8th) is the 12th day. God, I hope they scan the junk tomorrow and change the AVRS. I'm pretty worried since my AOS hasn't been tied to my case yet. I don't expect any RFE. I didn't over-share or under-share. Still hoping for a December interview. Spoke to a Bengali guy who went through immigration. He said it's totally possible to get a December interview. So pray and hope for me people. Thanks.

Indigo, really is it possible for you to get December interview? Isn't it true that NVC schedules interview on First two weeks for next month?

So, it's false RFE again?

I think you need to speak with a supervisor directly and tell them that you have sent everything with the package. Don't worry things will go smooth soon !

So my 2 RFE's are re-frickin-diculous. The 1st one was that they need a letter from my employer or recent pay stubs. I included a letter from my employer because they are a small business and don't do pay stubs. *Sigh* Then I got an RFE (and have to refill out and send in the I-864) for marking #25 incorrectly. That would be the question about whether you are only including this year's tax transcripts or for all 3 years. I had checked both because I had included all 3 years. I must not have corrected that before I sent it in. Obviously I am using all 3 years if I sent in all 3 years but whatever. At least they only need new stuff from me and not the co-sponsor. Stupid NVC. On the other hand, no one caught the over-information that should've received an RFE. Oh, and my DS230 isn't in their system yet so...that shall be some more RFE's :P:thumbs::rofl: Good thing I wasn't expecting December.

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

@Sulaiman, you are not eligible for Electronic Processing, I think only 4 countries are participating EP now.

@Malvika, Only some consulates publish the interview list. Check your consulate website.

@lady_bug, you need to contact NVC again and again to get the clear picture.

@Teya, Good luck your NVC process! Seems they don't like you :) But I like you :D

BTW, our file reached the Consulate today, ready for December interview. The number in my signature is the estimate :)

Thanks Loto, I think we don't have interview list in our consulate website, I searched all and didn't find an information.

In your case, doesn't NVC schedule an interview before they forward your case file to Embassy? Or how does it work?

BTW, how did you know that your interview will be schduled for December?

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK

Update -Our DS-230 with supporting documents is being delivered to NVC today :thumbs: now the waiting begins...
