Heather- Some times. They will let you know within a few weeks if something is "wrong." I hope they get to your DS260 soon! :thumbs:

Thanks..hopefully nothing is 'wrong.' The DS-260 should already be in the system since its an online thing...but it must take awhile to find the civil documents then cross-reference it with the online immigration visa.

Met in 2004 at a Dave Matthews Band concert, started dating November 2005, engaged February 2009 and married November 14, 2009. Together in the US on March 19th 2011

CR-1 journey

USCIS: (170 days)

2010-03-27: I-130 sent

2010-09-23: NOA2

NVC: (93 days)

2010-10-06: NVC Case Number assigned

2011-01-05: SIF and Case Completion!

Indigo- What does the message say when you call the NVC?

lady- I got an RFE as well. So I will be calling on Monday as well. :) I'm not worried though because I was expecting an RFE. It could also because I sent my AOS first and they are waiting for the IV package (which is in their mail room).

It says a packet of info was generate on Nov 1st and it will be soon mailed to me. I called NVC and they told me it's DS230 package instruction. Since I already sent it, they said don't worry about it. Neither my AOS nor my IV was accepted and entered into the system. I hope they'll be during this coming week. Now my AOS and IV is sitting the mail room collecting dust.

Well at least they really have reviewed my AOS package. I'm pretty sure I know what one of the things will be (over share of information that I forgot to remove before sending). :thumbs: If there is something else, I wouldn't be surprised. At least they have reviewed my packet. :) I guess I shall also make sure they have received the DS230. If that is all they are RFEing me for, I will laugh. Oh well, since I am hoping for a January interview, I should still be fine...as long as they review my DS230 quickly and let me know what is wrong. :rofl:

God, I hope they scan the junk tomorrow and change the AVRS. I'm pretty worried since my AOS hasn't been tied to my case yet. I don't expect any RFE. I didn't over-share or under-share. Still hoping for a December interview. Spoke to a Bengali guy who went through immigration. He said it's totally possible to get a December interview. So pray and hope for me people. Thanks.

I finished ripping out the old carpet and moving everything out of the house. Tomorrow morning around 0900, the carpet installer will come and put in the new carpet. It's rather difficult moving everything alone. But I did it. I'm going to sleep on the couch and the house echo a lot. I hope I get some news about the AOS by the time I'm doing fixing up the house tomorrow.

That's what I'm being told by people. That's it's very likely that we'll have a December interview. I can't take days off during Sunday. So wife will be here during January if she gets the visa during December. If my AOS and IV are entered into the system in 2-3 days...
