Now that my husband is a citizen, we are preparting documents to apply to bring his parents here.

10/22/10: Updated both email ids. DS-3032 e-mailed

11/03/10: IV fee PAID, IV package mailed

12/07/10: RFE for I-864 Entered into System

12/13/10: RFE for DS-230 entered into system

My wife returned a signed W7 form. It's for getting a ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number.) Is it worth it to get a ITIN? I mean the only reason I want it is because I want to claim her on my tax return for 2010. She should be in America and would be in possession of a SSN by April 14, 2011. I hope. But I usually file my taxes on January 5th or so. By Jan 5th, she probably won't be here and/or won't have a SSN. I'm conflicted. I hate not filing the tax return before everyone. I can brag about it. It's like a mark of being superior to other mortal beings who must toil away for hours and hours to do their taxes. While I, the greatest, have paid my taxes and collected my refund.

Well she will or has wakened the sleeping Giant and needs a come to Jesus Meeting... What goes around comes around as they say. Not that I am a vengeful person but I do believe in teaching them to fish rather than feeding them a fish. :devil:

Once my son was not doing well in school and was getting D's so one morning I ask him if he wanted breakfast and he quickly replied Yeah!!! So I was already cooking some eggs and ask him how many do you want. He said 2 and I also ask if he wanted bacon and hash browns and he of course said Yeah!!! Well I put all the above on his plate and gave them to him. however they were only 50% cooked. When I set the plate down he looked at it then looked at me with that ####### look. Then I told him Joe, if 60 % is good enough for you, its good enough for me... :devil: I think he got the message... B-) Who Loves yah BABY!!! :lol::oops:

"Refund", I very rarely get a refund. I did get a refund of $23 not long ago. I would rather have my money all year long, and send in what I owe in tax in April...........

I'd rather pay extra and get a refund then owe IRS. Plus, I feel like I'm doing something good by letting the government borrow money from me interest-free for a whole year, almost every since I started working.

Indigo- I sent my package off as well today (I told you because I know you can't read my time line :)(F) ) Your package should arrive a day before mine though so you should in theory get your SIF before me. So....please be kind and let me know when you get it so I can check as well :):yes:

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)
