I am waiting on the IV fee too. It has cleared my bank yesterday. Looks like it takes 2 business days for it to appear "PAID", So sometime today we should see it "PAID".

have been checking frequently and hope to rush the IV packet once it is "PAID".

ohh we are on the same page here :D

Yes, I also hope to have it cleared sometimes today. It would be better if it clears before 5:00 PM today so that I could do next day delivery :D

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

Read on the link below that NVC schedules interview only in the first 2 weeks of a month. Not sure how reliable the info is. you should know better.

You may use Form I-864EZ IF ALL the following conditions apply:

1. You are the person who filed or is filing the Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on the Form I-130 petition;

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employer(s).

Yep, glad it is finally coming to an end atleast from my side and then the waiting for an interview date starts. If the SIF happens before the 15th of November, then there is a chance of making it for a Dec interview, but am fine with a Jan interview too (more likely) :)

Hopefully it doesn't get pushed to Feb because of any potential backlogs at Chennai or an RFE.

I've noticed the invoice changed from IN PROCESS to PAID between 15:30 or 19:30 CST.

OMG. I'm on a frigging phone meeting. And it's not ending. They're going to take their sweet whole one hour. I hoped it ended quickly so I could go to the Post Office and mail my IV package. Why do people try to waste time on phone meeting. It's so stupid. I don't want to hear some thick-accented country boy talk for 1 hour into my ear and I'm a captive audience. Grr.

Loto, any thoughts on when my AOS package will get processed by NVC.

I would be more than happy if we could get December Interview. Our consulate is not that busy at this time (at least I believe so) :D

You missed the early mail already so relax cause your package will just sit till the evening mailing anyway. 1 Hour or two will not matter. At least that's what I noticed here.Does he speak slowly also hahaha

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

As long as I mail it by 17:00, it should be there by 12:00 tomorrow. Right? That's what Express bill is. Right?
