Jenny, would you be a doll and change your timeline into the following format in your signature? What you have now looks like someone ate a few set of alphabet and vomited it on your screen. No offense. But seriously, having the date first and the description later creates a nice and smooth timeline. It looks like a linear timeline, as it should. It's clear and concise and easy to follow. Speaking of this, can everyone change their timeline to the following format or some variation of it? Just make sure you use DD-MMM-YYYY date format. Also date first, then description. It'll be helpful to everyone. And trust me you want to be helpful. otherwise, some orge is going to jump you on a dark alley and steal your wallet.

08-AUG-2009 : Married.

06-APR-2010 : Left US, after caring for my wife, grandmother in law and my own illness, due to severe lack of funds. Had hoped to file prior but financially wasnt possible.

Returned home to find work. And save to begin immigration process.

USCIS:

09-SEP-2010 : Mailed I130 form to Chicago Lockbox.

16-SEP-2010 : Received NOA1.

24-SEP-2010 : Service request for expedite.

27-SEP-2010 : Touched.

27-SEP-2010 : Received request for further info.

29-SEP-2010 : Faxed dr's letters to CSC.

01-OCT-2010 : Again faxed dr's letters to CSC.

05-OCT-2010 : Fed Ex'd Dr's info/letters to CSC.

06-OCT-2010 : Received email clarifying info has been received at CSC.

07-OCT-2010 : Touched.

08-OCT-2010 : Touched - decision due re expedite today.

16-OCT-2010 : RFE received.

18-OCT-2010 : Responded to RFE and fed ex'd overnight to CSC.

19-OCT-2010 : RFE received at CSC, signed for and to be processed, called about expedite, will know in a day or two.

20-0CT-2010 : Touched - decision on expedite/adjudication within 24 hours.

21-OCT-2010 : Touched.

22-OCT-2010 : I130 Petition APPROVED.

hi everyone just a quick question..

yesterday i got my AOS fee and ds3032 in my email. i paid the fee without a problem but i noticed on the ds3032 that they sent me with the barcode it has an expiration date of 12/31/2006 whereas the one you can download from the website without the barcode has an expiration date of 01/31/2013..does this make a difference?

Thank you. It didn't offend me. I just thought it'd be helpful to others. As for your question about who has died and left me he kingdom, it was my grandfather. He died and left his royal baton to me. He wished to skip a generation to keep things fresh and entertaining.

So far the NVC process has gone smoothly. Just waiting on wife to send the PCC and her signed DS-230. I can then send the IV package and be done on my part. I won't get the package until Tuesday. Then hopefully, I'll have time on Tuesday night to finish up the package and ship it out Wednesday. I wouldn't call this flying. It's more like walking at a brisk pace only to get tripped on a pile of dead crows or a murder (a group of crows is called a murder.)

Hi everyone. Just a quick question. Yesterday I got my AOS fee and DS3032 in my email. I paid the fee without a problem; but, I noticed on the DS3032 that they sent me with the barcode, it has an expiration date of 12/31/2006. The one I got also had an expiration date of 31-DEC-2006. Of course, I had send the DS3032 way before they sent me the PDF with barcode. A lot of people have emailed the old, barcoded DS3032 without any problem. So it's fine. You can send this expired DS3032 without any problem. After all, you did get it from NVC.

So today is Saturday. Another idle day for me. I have absolutely nothing I need to do today that requires more than 10 minutes. I could clean the house but why bother. I'm having new carpet put in couple of weeks. So I'd have to removed everything outside. So meh! Not going waste energy doing something that I have to do anyways in few days. Since I live alone, there aren't a whole lot of mess in the house. As I sit here, typing and sipping my chai, the only mess i see is a t-shirt on sofa, shoes by the door, and pen on he middle of the floor, and a bag of Lays on the coffee table. How's that get there? I don't remember bringing it here or eating any Lays recently. Oh, there's only one sock by those shoes. Actually, never mind. I'm a huge mess-maker as it seems. How's everyone doing this fine Saturday? October 2010 is almost history and in the books. How does it feel to live on the last peripheral days of this decade? I'll tell you what, it sure ain't the 90's. Why can't Bill Clinton become the president again!

I find your writing entertaining, different, candid (on your views) and quite creative. Which seems to mostly keeps me smiling with the occasional head shake. Should I send another DS-3032 again? or am I fine coz I already paid my IV fee bill.

Call NVC's number. Get the AVRS. Don't need a person. The phone will tell you if your DS3032 is accepted or not. If it says, it's accepted. You don't need to do anything else regarding DS3032.

And congrats on your IV generation. Good luck on the rest of the way.

My beneficiary already received an email which says DS-3032 has been accepted. so no need to send another one !

I am hoping my IV fee bill will shows as "paid" sometimes Monday or Tuesday and I will send the IV package as soon as I print the barcoded cover sheet. THen my wait will begin.......................

But as I told above my beneficiary received an email this morning which says NVC has received the choice of agent form. I think that's all with the DS-3032 now.

Ok, here's the deal ! My beneficiary already received an email which says DS-3032 has been accepted. so no need to send another one ! I am hoping my IV fee bill will shows as "paid" sometimes Monday or Tuesday and I will send the IV package as soon as I print the barcoded cover sheet. THen my wait will begin.......................

It takes at least exactly 48 hours before you IV fee is accepted. Those 48 hours must be two business days. When'd you pay your IV fee? If you paid Friday, it'll be paid Tuesday evening. If you paid Thursday, then it'd be later Monday.

I paid my IV fee bill around 11:00 ish this morning. Hoping to have it cleared by Monday or Tuesday. I will also try to get NVC live operator on Monday. Sure I will eat an extra samosa for you Indigo
