I'm confused what papers are you speaking of I-130? You and your husband identify where he has lived. That is in your DS 230. So just get the PCC for those places you put down in that. Don't see how someone else can add things to your signed document. If you haven't sent in your DS 230 then on the cover letter as a clarification statement that explains things with any documentation you need to include.

Yes I was confused too about all of this but that is what the operator from NVC told me. blush.gif I called three more times today and I was told by all that we should only include the Police Certificate for the countries that he lived in which is Romania and Greece. They also told me that when we complete the DS 230 we should identify where he's lived since the age of 16 years old. So the first operator that I spoke with was wrong to say that he needed a police certificate from Moldova and Romania. I think that she may have had someone else's file up still when I spoke with her blush.gifblush.gif But as you and Loto suggested we will include a cover letter that explains that he never lived in Moldova and provide copies of all the pages in his passport.

Good day everybody! I write here the first time, but I read everything here. I need your help. Please explain me what I have to do.

On October, 26th NVC has appropriated numbers to our cases. I known it from the message of an automated recorded message system. Then I sent e-mail with a choice of the agent. Even 2 e-mails, one for supervisor Sue. But till now I have not received any answer. I do not know, whether have accepted NVC my e-mail. My husband tries to call to the operator, but it is impossible. He considers, that we should wait for the usual letter from NVC. On an automated recorded message system there is message on introduction of our case in system and no more changes. What I need to do now? Please, I need your advices. So it would be desirable to pass this step more quickly.

"The two most powerful warriors are patience and time."

NBI is the issuing facility not a document. For the Philippines only PCCs issued from the NBI are acceptable. If you were not aware of that then you should also search out other requirements applicable to PI. ( i.e. Cenomar and CFO). Here are a few links to get you started. You still have a little time so spend some time searching and reading PI specific information.

Make sure you buy travel insurance; so, you can cancel or change your flights if this doesn't pan out as you expect.

Be careful with travel insurance. Usually travel insurance just covers you if the flight is canceled because of the airline canceling (i.e. due to weather conditions- in which case, the flight is covered for the following day) or if there's a medical reason/emergency situation (i.e. death in the family) where you cannot travel on that day (you need to provide documentation of the reason). I don't believe that not getting your visa qualifies as an emergency in the airline's eyes. So read the small print on the travel insurance.

I think to really make sure you don't lose your money on the tickets, you need to buy refundable tickets (more expensive than non-refundable).

So today is Saturday. Another idle day for me. I have absolutely nothing I need to do today that requires more than 10 minutes. I could clean the house but why bother. I'm having new carpet put in couple of weeks. So I'd have to removed everything outside. So meh! Not going waste energy doing something that I have to do anyways in few days. Since I live alone, there aren't a whole lot of mess in the house. As I sit here, typing and sipping my chai, the only mess i see is a t-shirt on sofa, shoes by the door, and pen on he middle of the floor, and a bag of Lays on the coffee table. How's that get there? I don't remember bringing it here or eating any Lays recently. Oh, there's only one sock by those shoes. Actually, never mind. I'm a huge mess-maker as it seems. How's everyone doing this fine Saturday? October 2010 is almost history and in the books. How does it feel to live on the last peripheral days of this decade? I'll tell you what, it sure ain't the 90's. Why can't Bill Clinton become the president again!

I hear ya, sistah! Loud 'n' cleah! I had to grapple with fever the previous week and the weekend. Thankfully, it sort of skimmed past me. I really am frustrated that I have absolutely nothing to do. I can't even call anyone to come hang out with me. The people who'd come are working. The people who I don't want to hang out with have off. But I don't want to hang out with them. I hate having to hang out with people who are below me. Below me in the sense that I have to pretend to be miserable to get along with them. Like I have to complain about the dang economy because they have it rough. Thank God, I'm doing all right. It just makes me feel frustrated. So whatever. I don't even have a movie I can watch. I've browsing the Netflix Streaming service for a while now. Maybe I'm going to watch an anime, which I used to love when I was younger. But not in a nerdish way. I'm sick of video games. I don't have a new game that I can play. My favourite game keeps getting delayed. (Parenthetically: FU, SONY.) I'm just going to be on the computers for a long it can keep my mind numb!
