Thats good news. Atleast they have your package in the system. My paper work is still not in the system and it has been a week. But I already had a feeling that was going to happen to me. No hurry now. Will just wait it out for further response/contact from NVC.

hi john...my husband sent the ds230 but we only inlcude my police certificate..after 3 days we again send a copy of my NBI clearance..i hope and pray that we wont have RFE...same feeling here...no HURRY...just waiting...tnx for the update john..

Just got an email from NVC saying that I can go ahead and fill out the I-864 and DS-230. Thanks NVC for the update, considering the packages were both delivered on Monday. :thumbs::bonk:

Well feeling pretty confident so I booked everyones flights home on November 13th POE Fourt Lauderdale,FL. :D

Good for you. Nothing like confidences... Besides what could go wrong...Ticos are not a problem...haha Did I spell that right? :blush::lol:

I did the same thing and purchased my wife's ticket about a month ago. Just to give her some confidence.

So, I called NVC and found out just as you suggested that the PCC would need to be translated in English but I also found out that they screwed up on our papers. They are expecting the PCC from Romania and Moldova. So the operator said that once the DS-230 is received they will get that corrected. I was wondering if we should include a letter included with the required document that he never lived or visited Moldova and also include a copy of all pages from his passport. Can you guys please give me your feedback on this I really appreciated.

I'm confused what papers are you speaking of I-130? You and your husband identify where he has lived. That is in your DS 230. So just get the PCC for those places you put down in that. Don't see how someone else can add things to your signed document. If you haven't sent in your DS 230 then on the cover letter as a clarification statement that explains things with any documentation you need to include.

She doesn't know how to drive. So it will be at least a year after she comes here when she'll need to drive.

I am in the same situation. I ask my wife to take some lessons in her home town. Just so she can be comfortable and then hopefully get a international license there also. I do all of this in hopes of making it easier to get her driving here. If she can learn to drive in the Philippines she should be able to drive anywhere. :blink: I also have a friends wife willing to teach her once she gets here. I am so grateful for that ...cause I could not do it. :ranting::oops:

Shouldnt be a problem provided you sent them both with Cover Page With Bar Code.

What ever it takes right Loto!!! We all gain a little from others actions. To be honest I had some miles that were about to expire so it was an easy decision for me. Its my wife who is lacking confidence. I dont think she had any Idea how long this would take. Actually neither did I. :hehe:

Yes last minute tickets during holidays is very painful in the wallet... :help::blink:
