Yeah. That's what all the guides are saying. Cool beans! Speaking of cool beans, last night I was so f'n excited that my wife could send the documents I require on Friday (a weekend day in Bangladesh.) I told her before that it was closed. I checked FedEX site. But her parents thought it'd be open. I was right and they were wrong. It was closed. Sometimes, I struggle to remain a pessimist and it comes back to bite me. -sigh- Oh well! Whatever! FFUU!

BTW Idk how FedEx works for Bangladesh but it is AWFUL when it comes to packages from and to Bulgaria...

I know it is cheaper than others, but whenever we can - me and hubz use DHL - a bit more pricey but at least no problems ever..

I have never used DHL. FedEX seems to work fine from Bangladesh. The one time my wife shipped something, I really did get it in 72 hours as promised. When I shipped something express, the package arrived in Bangladesh within 5 business days. But it was stuck in customs. My wife doesn't live in the same city where most of the international mail arrives in Bangladesh. So we had to wait another week for delivery. Meh! I feel a bit down now. I need some distraction. I think I'll practice-fill Form I-751 (which is for removing condition for CR1 VISA holders.)

My point exactly - FedEx shipping has MAJOR customs hold ups here...

Well, if u do distract urself like that - I'll just turn to you when the time comes for us to file the ROC..

PERSONAL UPDATE: I couldn't hold myself and I called the USEM in Sofia early this morning (figured that way I'd remind them of the joint sponsor dox they needed to look at ). The operator lady does the check-up and says the most amazing words in my life: I SEE YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED AND WE'LL SEND YOUR PASSPORT THIS AFTERNOON OR ON MONDAY AT THE LATEST. !!!! :dance:

I was so exited, shocked and happy that all I could say (not even sure I said it ) was THANK YOU! HAVE A NICE DAY!

I'm pretty sure it only has to be translated in English... You can double secure urself with a translation in Romanian too (if you have the time and $$ to spend), but the best thing really would be to call the USEM and ask them! Good luck!

I filled out the I-751. Seems like I cannot fill out the Alien and Social Security Number boxes. Make sense. My wife's DS230 has been filed yet.

How long after the IV fee payment is made do we receive the next steps??? I was hoping to see something this morning:blink:

I doubt you will RECEIVE anyhting! Once you're able to print out the cover sheet - you're good to go for sending the IV package.. Browse tru LingChe DS-230 and Loto's guides for a list of what you need to put in ur package!

I was wondering if the Police Certificate from Greece needs to be translated in Romanian and English since his interview will be in Romania!!! I will call NVC tomorrow to ask them but I though someone here might know the answer. I forgot to ask them today when I called. UGH

The PCC is being provided to the US Embassy for their information. Its a Visa for entry into the USA so English translation is needed.

I still dont understand why some countries need letters to provide this document as they are charging for it. Why would they care why you are asking for it. Perhaps they give different efforts depending on who will recieve it. Still seems stupid to me.

Don't worry about deployment although I guess the unknown is always scary. I spent 4 yrs in Iraq.
