Seriously - let her push the button. If you do it, that IP address at yer home, is logged. Better to have HER IP address logged, instead.

6 weeks? Aren't most people getting their NVC case number about 2 weeks after receiving the NOA2 hard copy?

yes it is 2-3 weeks. However, when the operator says 6-8 weeks its just the standard answer. Dont worry. You guys should get it within 2 weeks

Friends here are my updates:

10/04/2010: I-864 AOS review fee ($88) online payment 'PAID'

10/05/2010: I-864 AOS status 'PAID', AOS package FEDEXED out to NVC

10/06/2010: I-864 AOS package delivery to CMR AOS, NVC

10/??/2010: IV Fee ($404.00) waiting for the online payment

when NVC is closed (no human folk) the AVR is supposed to be available.

Suggest you call in around 10 or 11 pm, EST, and then check it with the AVR, also on weekends.

WHEN the AVR 'gives you an Embassy case #'

then call in , the next business day, get a Human, and go forth.

Does it have to be every day? That's yer choice, really. If past 10 days of NOA-2 date, then I suggest yes, daily.

Thanks Darnell, we are about 12 days passed out NOA2 notice (hard copy received 4 days after text notice)...my husband will be redialing over and over tonight.
