M_B and 786India,

My AVR has not changed yet since CC. However I believe the package I saw on DHL tracking is mine and was shipped on 01/03. NVC P4 also says that our case was forwarded to USEM Nepal and any inquiry should be addressed to USEM Nepal. I am not gonna stressed out too much on this, I will have my wife call Embassy in next few days to find out if they received our file.

786India- my pleasure and we are good friend indeed :D

Indigo- Thank you and wish you good luck for your upcoming interview.

M_B - I hope Feb 11 VB will move forward enough to cover your PD and pray for your early interview. Thanks !

Congrats to everybody who have recently gotton SIF/CC. :D

Yes, every1 on VJ is a friend indeed but u, Miami_Boy, and I went thru this journey simultaneously +-2 days r more frnds indeed. :)

Thanks brother

well, I am 32, but i have very young face doesn't look I am at age. :star:

That's perfect. You're not too old to be a tight #### and you're not too young to be an idiot either. I'm not that far from your age. So we'll get along fine. Personally I get along with people who are older than me than people my age or younger. Why the other day on a gaye holud everyone was screaming and hollering. But not me. I was savoring my time with a 75 years old lady. She had amazing stories to tell and her experiences in life are vastly more interesting to listen to than people my age and their latest Facebook hook-ups.

You're sister-in-law's sister-in-law? Now I have no doubt you're a desi. Only desi people keep in touch with people that far in family lineage. I hadn't thought about greeting cards. I will have to ask my wife to take one with her if there were some left from our wedding.

malvika,

Since all are copies, you can use any mail service.

I, the fool, sent my original Naturalization certificate and original birth certificate by USPS express mail and it was lost. Still, fighting with USPS and they needed 60 days investigation.

I'll file for new naturalization in Feb since I'll be moving to NJ and joining with Citigroup (hope they will not bankrupt!) soon. During my vacation, I made my original birth certificate again which did cost me Rs.40 (less than $1) and the person (my friend and school mate who is village office President) hand carried it and delivered to my home personally. What a service! :star:

Miami_Boy bhai, do you know how soon they give the passport back in Bangladesh after a successful interview and VISA approval. I'm reading conflicting times. Some say a day later. Some say few days later. Some say in a week. A few of the "recent interview" profile in VJ says the next day. Hopefully it's a day then I can be relieved.

I just did a year end review of my finance. I'm short on liquid dough now. How am I going to afford at least $3,000 for the trip along. Then more for shopping and eating. Argh! I might have to borrow some cash at obscene rate of interest. :(
