Thanks Darnell, we are about 12 days passed out NOA2 notice (hard copy received 4 days after text notice)...my husband will be redialing over and over tonight.

Keep calling, when I got SIF the operator told me less than an hour before...call back 6-8 weeks..HELLO???? then I checked the portal and had SIF go figure....

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

ya, this stuff is fun, right?

I call the process 'circling'... and I compare it (no, not you, ever) to watching a toilet bowl flush.

The water circles around n around, then finally, it goes down into some path.

It's the same circling pattern, on most things, at NVC, ya?

--waiting for Embassy casefile #

--waiting on email for AOS fee bill and DS-3032

--waiting on DS-3032 to be accepted

--waiting on NVC to finally pull things from the mailroom, add to the casefile

--waiting on fee payments to be marked 'paid'

--waiting on SIF

--waiting on 'final review' then

--waiting on 'appointment date set' ..

and the beat goes on.

Thankfully, once you got a casefile # - then USUALLY you have 2 circling patterns going on, concurrently, until the SIF ...

hang in there, patience is a virtue... One Must Remain Virtuous Whilst Waiting on NVC to flush you, yes?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Called NVC according to the AVR my documents were recieved on OCT 4th but I fedex the docs and Desmond signed for them on Sept 29th. Says please wait 6-8 weeks for review. Does this mean it has been entered into there system and now I'm just waiting for SIF or not entered yet or what? I'm really tired of this process. Thanks in advance for the input.

looks like its in the system. So 6-8 weeks from Oct 4th. But looking at the recent SIF and CC, i would say 3-4weeks. Good luck.

Yes I did. Now I am waiting for the IIN number email. Still nothing yet from them. I thought i would get it today as people usually get it within a day or two. So hoping I get it tomorrow.

Usually within 3 days of 'exchanging emails' with an NVC Human

If it's gone past 3 business days -

wei - call back (USC Spouse, The Petitioner) ,

and

ask , "Please send me the AOS Fee Bill via EMAIL" and confirm the EMAIL address.
