Well that bites. Cost me an additional $115.00. Question. When they raised the 129-F fee in June to $455, all filed petitions not approved by June 04, 2010 I believe, would have to pay the additional amount to equal the $455.

Does this mean the rule works both ways and us who paid the $455 but aren't approved by the November date will get a refund???

I have never seen where the USCIS has refunded any money after the check was cashed. But, thee is always hope.

And the new fees would only apply to new applications, not applications already lodged (with checks cashed) into the system.

Heck, they can keep the extra $115.00 and just get my K1 visa approved right away. That's the least they can do is get the ones that had to pay more done with...don't you think that would be fair?

Well, I just sent my I-129F in and it arrived at the Texas Lockbox today. Even if I did know that the fee was going to changed I would not have waited. Nov 23 is a long way off and we don't want to wait that long to get the ball rolling. Lower fee would have been nice but I want her here now please.

I would rather want them to work a little faster than saving the extra $115. If they were slow @ $455 wait until the bring the price down. Nah! I am only kidding...but who knows
