For God So Loveth The Humans....

He created us in the beginning, roughly 6,000 years ago to date. He realized how disappointed He was in us that He committed the largest mass murder holocaust known to mankind. In order to desecrate the human race He chose to exterminate us in a Great Flood and start anew. According to me one of the worst ways to die is by fire or by drowning but obviously God has a different opinion.

God was kind enough to keep human race going so He told Noah and his friends to build an ark so large every animal in the world could fit on it so they didn't drown to death like the rest of us.

Then some centuries go by and God so loveth the humans that He created a Son, named Him Jesus, and to show His deep love, He murdered His own Son by nailing Him to a cross! That is tough love!!! But He had to show the human race how much He loved us and what better way than to kill His Son?

To show us infidels His eternal love and kindness He forced His Son (part human, part God) to be crucified, nailed to a cross, in front of our very eyes. What a holy blessing and metaphoric day that was!

If I was around back then (2000 years ago), the day after the murder, I would have been on my knees saying: "How could you be so infinitely kind? To murder your only child!!! That is genius!!! That is the deepest form of love. It is beyond love. It is Godly love. In fact, I want to imitate the Heavenly Father. I love Him so much I'm gonna go kill 10 people!!!

I'm not sure which point of your post you want us to discuss. It contains volumes of questions...so I will choose to discuss the incarnation and cruxifiction (hard to spell!):

Through hypostatic union, divine and human natures were united in Christ in a perfectly nature of non-duality. Now, think about that for a while and discuss it amongst the many 'selves' you (and me) have of our singular existence! God became man because only one who was both God and man could achieve our salvation. Simply put, we are too weak to achieve our own salvation. This is in radical difference to prior theologies of self-liberation! There are two main reason for Gods incarnation in the human flesh of Jesus:

1. Salvation had to be achieved by God, for no one else could achieve it.

2. Only then could man properly strive for salvation.

The Atonement is the reason for the incarnation. Therefore, Christ’s resurrection is the reason for the incarnation, in order that we may be saved through the path he has set forth for us.

Well...I'm not good at explaining this type of thing and VJ probably isn't the best forum for it...but hey...I gave it a shot!

The greatest part of Christ is that before he had a chosen people and even though it was possible to become a chosen one it seemed exclusionary. God gave us his son so that anyone could come onto him. Christ asked for forgiveness for not only his persecutors but to forgive everyone their sins for we knew what we were doing. To study and read about him gives us this knowledge to understand our sins and improve our lot in life and come freely to know Christ.

Also it is a great story and has all the elements to make a great hollywood movie.
