Question about expediting forms

I sent form I-102 to replace my I-94 along with my AOS package and I just got the emails/texts from USCIS confirming acceptance w/ the receipt numbers. I sent a letter to expedite the form (per instructions on USCIS.gov website) and put it on top of the I-102. I was wondering.... since they accepted the application and assigned a case # to it already, does this mean that the request to expedite the form was approved?

I have the same concern too. But we didn't file any form. We requested the expedite through phone and were given a case number. The agent said that we will wait for 5-10 days for the decision if we qualify for an expedite. We will call USCIS tomorrow to get an update about it.

If you apply for an expedite it is 5-10 day wait to see if you are approved for the expedite. Then you will get the faster processing if you are approved. Call USCIS to confirm about it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

ok, I'll probably have to call and do the same... I sent my forms in on sept 15th though, and i got the receipt numbers on the 22nd for all of the forms BUT the I-102(the one i requested to be expedited) and the checks cleared for all but the I-102... and just got the receipt number today. So I thought there was a delay on it because it was sent to someone else to see if I qualified or not... well keep me posted on what happens with yours!!

Does it include Saturday and Sunday? Or just business days? We had the case number last Sept 21.

Usually only includes business days ( week days ) but sometimes (very few) there have been employees that take home petitions and work on them on weekends at home. Kind of depends on the person working on your papers really..

We will call tomorrow. We called this morning but the agent wasn't very helpful. She was rude in fact. She said she cannot disclose anything about it and that it is still pending. So, we'll see what another agent will tell us tomorrow.

Ohhh, thank you! My husband's family liked it too. It's a cathedral so it is exceptionally beautiful :)
