who is petitioner ?

who is beneficiary?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

NVC Processing is for a VISA - and those are awarded back at the US Embassy in that 'home country'. So if you are in the USA, plan to return once the US Embassy or NVC schedules an interview date for you.

RE: what's next -

if yer using the online payment portal, follow the steps in this mini-how-to - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

More NVC Info -

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

I pray yer not in USA on any overstay of 'last issued visa' - that'll be some problem on interview day.

Good Luck !

Hey thanx for the info?? Why would it be a problem?

if you are over 18 and have been here for more than a year in the US, when you leave, you will have triggered the 10 year ban. you will need to file a waiver and your mother send a hardship letter. if they approve the hardship letter, then the ban will be forgiven. if not, you will have a 10 year ban.

you do not qualify to adjust in country you will go through consular processing.
