I got the EAD approval/card production last week, then today it was touched again and the email was the same email, anyone know why they do this?

AOS,EAD,AP aps received: 7/28/10

Biometrics appointment notice: 8/06/10

Biometrics appointment: 8/20/10

AOS Touched: 8/20/10

AOS Touched: 8/30/10

AOS Interview notification received: 9/02/10 for 10/05/10

AP Touched: 9/23/10

EAD Approval/card production email: 9/24/10

AP Touched: 9/28/10

EAD Touched again, same card production email: 9/29/10

EAD and AP received: 10/01/10

Applied for SSN: 10/04/10

Interview date: 10/05/10 Detroit.

10 year GC APPROVED: 10/05/10 !!!!!!!!!

Welcome letter arrived in the mail: 10/09/10

SS card arrived: 10/12/10

Green Card arrived in mail: 10/15/10 :)

Could just be a computer glitch....we got like 50 some emails all the same saying they received our application for AOS and EAD....and just about that many texts as well.....@ least you know it's actually legit :P ....congrats on getting everything so fast! I wish....

Last week we got the "card production email", then again on Tuesday we got another card production email, then today we went backward to "post decision" email that said we were mailed a notice saying we were approved. Very weird. I am hoping in another couple of days the EAD will come in the mail.

04/2006 - Interview (1st time) denied

Waited, waited...... no review

06/2009 - Filed k1 (2nd time)

09/2009 - NOA 2 approved

12/2009 - Interview (2nd time) APPROVED! VISA ISSUED

02/2010 - Arrived USA

04/2010 - Married

AOS Timeline

4/19/2010-Sent to Chicago Lockbox

4/26/2010-Received texts and emails 7th day

4/30/2010-Received NOA's(Hardcopies) 11th day

5/3/2010-Received ASC appointment notice(mailed 4/29/2010)14th day

5/7/2010-Walk-in Biometrics done(2 weeks earlier)18th day

5/13/2010-Case transferred to CSC

6/2/2010- Case received/resumed at CSC

6/18,6/22,6/23 AOS touches

6/28/2010- EAD production and touch on AP

6/29/2010-AOS APPROVED

7/2/2010- 2nd update on EAD production and touched on AP....

7/6/2010- Received "Welcome Letter" and AP document

7/12/2010-Received GREEN CARD and EAD

Don't know WHY per se... but it's protocol. My guess is the first email puts it in the "approval pile," The second initiates actual card production, and the third, which says we mailed you a notice, is when they actually mail the card. The first two ideas are total guesses, I admit, but the third is right ;)

You will get your physical EAD card within 10 business days if your original card production email, and the AP within 6 business days. (Source: USCIS congress liason).

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

This happened to me today, went back to "post decision" did your card come yet?
