what is the visa category of unmarried sons/daughters over 21 of citizen

i went to the visa bulletin website and it doesnt state any category for unmarried sons/daughters of US citizen over 21 yrs old. and how if he gets married before he gets to the US, can he bring his wife right away? please advice. thank you,

1st Preference or F1 category. IF the unmarried relitive gets married duriing the application process then category woud be changed to the 3rd Preference or F3 Category. currently for F3 the NVC is working on cases filed 01MAR02 or before where as fo your current status they are working on cases filed 1st 01JAN06 or before. IF you get mariied the Spouse would be able to join along... instead it would delay you about 4 years. The best option probbaly would be to leave the case as is and then once the F1 category visa is issued then you can turn around and petition for the spouse which maytake about 8-12 months based on the current uscis processing times and nvc's current visa bulletin. Keep in mind that if you get married like the next day after you have been toldin the intervew you were approved and got married then you would have voided the visa. THE Applicant MUST arrive and be processed in the USA/POE as a single person..matter of fact some countries ask that an affidavit be submitted to see if there were/are any prior/current marriage in the system..

Third: Married Sons and Daughters of Citizens: 23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.

Fourth: Brothers and Sisters of Adult Citizens: 65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences

no, he cannot marry. or he marries now and applies as married son, or he comes to the us as unmarried and then returns to his country and marries. but he will have to leave her and then file for her.
