My fiancée gets her visa today via the Air21 courier. She examines the passport and visa and all the information is fine! However, as she describes over the phone, there are two envelopes sealed together. On the outside of the envelopes there are pictures of “another couple!” Additionally, she stated that one of the envelopes has a corner that had been cut, and she is not certain if this is normal or flawed during the process. My thoughts are if they sent incorrect pictures back from another couple, then who’s to say that they have the right information in the envelopes!!! In summary, when I called the embassy they gave me a number to the Department of Homeland Security in Manila, with a specific extension. Guess what, the extension just lead me to a voice prompt to leave a message! Need help!!!!

Yeah, missing corner is normal but you are correct in that you have no way of knowing that it is her packet. She must not open the evenlope with the cut corner.

Have her return to the USEM with the sealed envelope so they can open it and confirm the contents are correct.
