Déclaration d'Impots - Help from French

Ok, I need help from French people here.

I'm leaving France in 2 weeks' time. I'd like to pay off my taxes and not having to think about it while in the US earning (hopefully soon enough) USD.

I called the Service des Impots and a very arrogant lady told me this is not possible, it's too early to declare. Ok, fair enough.

I would like to close my bank account here and stop the standing order (je suis mensualisée) and I have given them my new US address. If I do that, I may find myself in a year's time having to paying them say 2 thousand Euros or something like that. If i leave my account open here it'll cost me money and I'll have to leave money on it for the Impots to take out every month.

What have you done?

Thanks as always for your help. I can't imagine have done half of what I have without this web site!

I hope I get a reimbursement actually).

Donc, tu as déjà reçu ta take d'habitation?

Thank you all for your help!
