It can be true but unsure if 100%. I have been told the same by NVC several times and would call during the 17th of each month in addition to toher days and was constantly told that I did not make the interview schedule and to call back same time next month. On Sept. 1, we received the interview notice and it certainly was not the 2nd wk of the month and I had called NVC as late as the 29th of Aug to inquire about it and why it is taking so long and was told to call back mid-next month.

Go figure...

We got the interview letter on August 30th, so it's not ALWAYS the 2nd week of the month.

xtreme has his wife in Canada, she's interviewing in Montreal -

so

is some other EVIL, HEINOUS queue -

she's not interviewing in Bangladesh

xtreme - you've a 'case complete' at NVC (assume AVR status) on 2010-08-16.

NVC is lagged much - what used to take 3 to 5 days now takes weeks -

so -

when you call in to NVC again - check some things, ya?

--final review complete or still in process, if complete, what date?

--casefile placed in 'appointment setting queue' or not? if yes, what date was it set into this queue?

then that 'appointment setting queue' date - THAT'S the date to use for further computations, as it's THAT QUEUE that's important.

This is a specific 'scheduling queue' for Montreal -

you need to 'plan' for 5 to 7 months' now, from 'that' date, until an interview is set - but even then, the interview date will be 1 to 3 months PAST the date the appointment is set.

Clear(er)? Still Confusing?

Montreal is lagged into Oblivion, is deep dark pit of dismal despair.

Ya, each time xtreme comes on, posts in sms-speak, I cringe.

This time, I thought to reply back via sms-speak, cringing all the way.

I'm old cranky curmudgeon, I abhor sms-speak, mostly.

In another post today, xtreme revealed the interview will be in Montreal, I caught that one, luckily.

Hopefully, he'll have a chance to read stuff tonight on VisaJourney, learn more about Montreal and the scheduling problems.
