Hi all

I am currently going through the AOS process and I was wondering if It would be possible to renew my drivers license. I've had once since 2006 or 2007 and they would normally have to be renewed every 12 months however this year they only gave me 10 months (that's around the time when all my travel documents expired as well). I moved from Florida to Arizona so I sent in my change of address form along with my AOS package. I'm wondering if I can have it renewed by the time it is actually expired(December 2010) or not. Also my passport from my native country is also expired, when is a good time to get it renewed?

Thanks in advance for any information anyone might have.

Oh so far all I've got is an NOA for my I 131 if that's of any use in this case.

9/7/2010 Sent AOS package

9/9/2010 Package received at Chicago lock box

9/20/2010 Received first NOA for I131. (dated 9/17/2010)

9/29/2010 Received Biometrics letter and NOAs for I485 and I765(this was dated 9/21/2010)

10/19/2010 Biometrics Appointment date

10/04/2010 Received email of RFE for I485.Now waiting for it in letter.

You should be able to renew your Dl without the initial evidence Since you already had one for a while. You could probably go there and gt it renewed 2-3 months before the exp. date.
