Like I said, inequality is good unless you're a no-good filthy communist who believes in social justice and cheers on the opening of soup kitchens. You will know America has finally achieved economic maturity when the opening of a new soup kitchen is met by angry protests and not ribbon cutting ceremonies with pandering politicians.

The chart is already adjusted for inflation, so why should the average earnings increase?

Makes sense that it should remain about the same - between $17 and $20.
