Good Morning everyone! Shannon and I were approved on 9/24. Just got around this morning at work to announce the good news. Thank you so much everyone for all your helpful answers and patience. This was a valuable resource this website, and its members. I look forward to helping as much as I can and also being helped as we move on to the the NVC side of things. \

So I hear since my wife is from Canada at the NVC we can do electronic processing is this true?

Congrats! And if you NVC case # starts with MTL you should be eligible for electronic processing. However the Montreal consulate is really back logged.

It took my husband and I about 2 months to get through all of the electronic processing (could be shorter for you, my husband procrastinated with some items we needed). The wait time for the actual consulate interview is somewhere around 4-5 months unfortunately.
