"Strolling in the park" anywhere in Ukraine is great, but usually it doesn't get very loud. It sounds like Birdman2010 is going to get his wings clipped for a few days now that the son has arrived. :(

Birdman doesn't have wings yet. Easyukraine is getting them clipped. Unless...send the son to Bahbuska's flat. Anyone that ever lived in the USSR knows what it means when Bahbuska takes the children for a walk.

well I made it home finally, had a 12 hour layover in Amsterdam. I needed the rest after that trip. she did get an ear infection so wasn't feeling to well when she left. On Friday I took both the boys out for sushi so we could talk. they said it was ok/good to marry there mother. now the games begin in 2 weeks I will file the paperwork for her visa. I have to admit I did do one business meeting while I was there, she actually was interested in going and listening to us discus some business. I might be starting a tourist agency to go along with my web sites.

OMG I could SO get in trouble with 12 hours in Amsterdam...I can't do that anymore.

Good luck!

A few years back I had the opportunity to layover in Amsterdam. I chose to layover somewhere else.

Like Vegas and buying a motorcycle, it's just one of those things I shouldn't do.

I have done the Amsterdam trip a few times so tried to get a little sleep this time.

There are a few just awesome cities in Europe. Prague and Amsterdam fall into those categories. Kiev is not bad at all but I find that I CAN sleep in Kiev. The other two, OMG! Sleep when you get back! I met Alla in Prague and I think neither of us slept for two days, then I left and slept on the plane, she had to go to a business exhibiton and she STILL cusses me out for that.

Well, one of these days we will get Alla a Shengen visa and we will visit Amsterdam together. I think she may have a much fun as me. I can;t do what I used to be able to do...with anyone but Alla...but it would still be great fun. OMG yes.

Easyukraine, PLEASE tell me you didn;t sepnd 12 hours in the airport! It is an awesome airport, one of the best in the world (IMHO) but you gotta get out of there!

lets just say I did more in 5 days in Kiev than I do in 7 days with 2 jobs here. I think over the last 20 or so years I have made around 15 trips to Amsterdam so nothing new there. I do want to visit a museum not far from there but was closed when I landed. besides my girl who I would see who lived there I haven't talked to in a while for obvious reasons.
