Hello Everyone,

I'm co-sponsoring a family of 5 and have some questions for you guys.

1. what's the income level that is required of me?

2. if i don't make enough, what kind of assets must i have?

3. i can borrow some money and deposit it in my account, but they probably require however number of months of bank statements. is that a correct assumption?

4. do we use form I184 or I134? the family is my wife's uncle and his sister is the petitioner; so it a petition for a sibling.

thanks for your help.

The I-864 is used.

How many immigrants would you be sponsoring? How many persons are there in your household?

Use the form I-864P to learn the income requirement. You can find the link below in my signature.

You are correct about the borrowed money.

See the form I-864 instructions to learn about assets. Also see these I-864 FAQ from the State Dept. website >>> http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3183.html
