Do I mail the ds-230 and the ds-2001?

Hi, my brazilian wife and I recieved our final interview in rio de janeiro october 21st. We are doing DCF. My question is about the forms ds-230 and ds-2001. The form 2001 says it must be mailed in in order to schedule our final interview. Since our interview has already been scheduled, do we need to mail this in? Also, the ds-230 do we mail this in or just take it to the interview?

All the form does is let the nvc/counsulate know that you are ready to be interviewed. You can send it with the ds-230.. it will not do any harm

okay i finally recieved a response from the consulate in rio about mailing in the 230 and the 2001...

You should bring the referred documents at the interview date.
