IF you were to get divorced, insist that part of the divorce proceedings include her not leaving the country with the kids....if she does anyways (and it's not easy, airlines are supposed to ask for either divorce paperwork showing sole legal custody, or a letter from the other parent indicating he/she approves of the trip)....therefore IF she were to bail with the kids, and you had Joint custody, and the decree stated she couldn't leave with the kids, and she still managed to pull it off....she couldn't enforce the child support, IMO of course....

My ex is Korean and she was asking for Sole Custody (with visitation) and I refused on those grounds and the judge awarded me joint custody.

(but) 1st....I wonder if you would mind answering a couple questions before I launch into my own self indulgent diatribe...? Please don't assume my questions have any offensive meaning...just trying to eliminate or validate a hunch....ok,,,

1) When/if you ever run...are you limp wristed? (or) Arms inverted with wrists held against your chest?

2) When you feel angry...do you sometimes..burst into tears?

Would really like to know your answers so I will know which direction I want to go. I'm down to 2.

I saw your Rubik's Cube vid. I think your a "cat and mouse" guy. I think you are the manipulator (in your relationship) Rlogan, has been writing about, and your problem is that you can't solve/ master your fiancee.

Hence the "avoidance" and the melodramatic behavior. (oh well) At least you helped Rlogan kill some time while he's healing and he provided a few good reads about manipulation.

Manipulator? Not really. Seriously, I dont find enjoyment in that. Things are getting better I think it was a a false alarm. We are back again and I need to apologize to the forum for posting about few doubts I had which maybe are not true.

I don't think the OP merely asks such questions in order to prepare himself once the time comes when the stated hypothetical situation becomes real. He sounds pessimistic. Remember that life is what you make it. Don't blame the world for your experiences. If you happen to be divorced in the future then you'd be responsible for that. Besides, you don't marry someone thinking or even considering that one day you might just part ways. If you believe without any reservation or doubts that the person you are marrying would be with you through it all, you wouldn't be entertaining thoughts of divorce or anything like that. Anyway, I hope the OP isn't really an insecure person.
