proof of having met in the last two years and proof of on going relationship please help me. im begging you

f you wait until after you see her again, there would be no need to mention the previous meeting...or you could. It does not matter. You need to privide eveidence of metting in person at least ONCE within the two years prior to filing the petition. It doesn't matter WHICH time, first tiem, third time, last time...doesn't matter. It does not even matter HOW you were "introduced" only that you show you have met in person within the last two years. The question does not ask "How did you meet?" The question does not ask "What is your love story" it asks for details about meeting at least one time within two years. That is all.

If you met more times you still have to do the same thing and they will not approve your petition sooner. I had met with my wife many times before we filed for the petition. I sent one photo and described how we initially met (we initially met in person by chance) but it could have been any of the meetings I described. My description was two sentences.

So...do what you will. mention it, don't mention it (do not lie about it) write one sentence or write a book...just send proof you met in person and the Petition hander-outers will be happy.

Dont worry if they dont have dates, is fine, people change over time, hair grow or cuts, so i think thats fine, for the beggining... the boarding passes are not going to be reissued after this long, i am sorry i happen to work for an airline... if she has the stamp i think thats fine, but like i said give time, let her come for december and after that you apply for the K1...

I am saying if you have evidence of meeting in person ONE time within two years of filing for the petition...you will be fine. You do not need "lots and lots" of evidence, ever, for the petition. You will need more evidence of relationship for the visa interview later.

Our evidence was

1. Two sentence description

2. ONE photo of us together (no dates, names, places or identifiable features in the photo, it was taken in a restaraunt, could have been anywhere)

3. My passport stamps and boarding passes showing I was there when I said I met her.

That is all.

I did not meet my fiancee/wife in a country that either of us lived in! We were both in Prague for business when we met by chance! It does not matter WHERE you met, HOW you met, HOW you got there, HOW long you met for, or if you ever spoke to her again since...for the petition to be approved.

You do not need evidence of chatting about sex, or anything else, for the petition. You need proof of meeting in person, not proof you chat online.

It is not necessary to reveal private conversations ever. You may attach a few emails as evidence for the visa interview later, but why would it be the ones where you discuss sex? Presumably you discuss something other than sex sometimes. Try to.

As far as proof of ongoing relationship (you will need it at your interview at the embassy), you can use plane tickets and photos from any visits after you file (if you visit), emails, chat logs, phone records, letters, anything that shows you communicate and proves a relationship.

I am using a prepaid celfone here in the philippines. which means, i dont have a monthly bill. so theres no way for me to have a list of people who calls me and whom i am calling. but she got a line phone. meaning she got monthly bills and billing statement. my question is, will my number appears as exactly as the number i have? because there was an instance wherein she tried calling me, and the number that appeared on my screen is just like this (+0000) and nothign else. im worried what if, everytime i call her, the same thing appears on her billing statement. could that be possible?

I suggest that between now and filing the petition, you find ways to document your communication. Some phone cards have a system to track calls. We use one that does this and still do to talk to our son and family and friends in Ukraine/Russia. it is called "Continental" and it is available at PennyBoss. com. They have others that offer great rates and call details. It can be refilled online, you can list any numbers you want for PINless dialing, refill minutes online with a click of the mouse) We have 5 people using this card to talk to Russia/Ukraine and it costs me about $10 per week. When one figures the ancillary costs even of something like Vonage it is cheaper to use the cards and you can call from anywhere at any time. Our son in college in Moscow can take his cell phone and call us whenever he wants (usually when he needs money )

Document your communications and provide some samples at the visa interview. You do not need to provide every email or conversation and you do not need to include sex talk.

Bobby, i do not agree completely and here is why. That he was in the Philippines does not mean he met his fiancee. I was living in Ukraine for two years and met Alla on a trip to Prague, CZ! I never "met" her all the time living in Ukraine, Go figure...could be because there are 45 million people there and...well, you can figure the rest.

"Secondary evidence" does not mean "unnecessary evidence". Secondary means "in support of primary". I went to the Philippines, here is my passport stamp to prove it, and while I was there I met my fiancee, here is our photo together.

Have there been cases where people got approved without photos? Yes, I think there has been. I think they may also have had more primary proof of meeting than "I met her in a bar and talked for a while", could be just a guess on my part. I can assure you that 14 pages of sappy love story and how you were embarrased to ask if she was married or it would be rude, etc., will have NO affect on anyone at USCIS and will not make up for needed EVIDENCE. Have there been cases where people sent a few photos and passport stamps and were asked for MORE? Yes, absolutely. Simply do a search of the forums here and you will see which there is more of.

The REAL problem is this...IF he sends his petition without photos (or other evidence) taken PRIOR to filing the petition and they request more evidence...he has none and the petition will be denied. It is a $455 chance. You pays your nickle and takes your chances.

1. starting from now, all phone calls i make to her should be documented. and as a proof to that. a billing statement of her will do. right?

2. all emails will be saved, and those words that are explicit will be erase.. is that right?

3. all chats will be save, editing some intimate chats.. right?

4. since we do skype, and we use webcam.. I will do some screenshots while we were chatting, noting that the date and time are well seen on the picture..right?

5. i will ask the bank to issue a record of money transfer coming from her to my bank account as proof that she did sent me money.. right?

6. when she comes here, i will take lots and lots of pictures together. not just us, but her with my family and relatives and me with her family and relatives. and pictures of our engagement party on my house.. right?

7. i will tell her to save her plane tickets, boarding passes when she came here. right?

8. since we will be staying in a hotel, i will ask the manager to make a receipt under both our names for the duration of our stay.. right?

9. since we plan to go to other destination, every bit of official receipt we have should be save...

10. all my cards which i sent to her via snail mail should also be keep.

11. since i plan to give her a card every single day while shes here with me to tell her that everyday is a special day because i am with her, that should also be keep? right?

12. i will ask some of our friends who are witness during our engagement party to write a letter and sign it to prove that we have a genuine relationship.

13. i will ask both our parents to make a letter as well testifying that they are aware of our ongoing love affair and that we have their blessings to get marry.. right?

In regards to phone calls, I use the Yahoo Messenger chat and voice calling. In Yahoo Messenger there is a "call history" feature, that you can see and copy. The call history shows both parties email address, amount of minutes talking, time, and date. I print a sheet of the call log, for each month, which in my case, is usually 30 calls a month.

#10, yes. #11, yes, do keep them; however submitting all of them with paperwork is a little over the top. Submit some with paperwork, keep the rest for the interview.

You both have to write and sign statements of intent to marry within 90 days of your arrival in the USA. The letter from the priest can accompany your statements of intent.

thank you... but to me, i still have to dig deeper.lol.. i want to cover everything that i need. i just proposed to her few hours ago. and here i come, reading every single details that i need to for me to marry her... wish she knows what im doing right now.lol.. ive been reading everything, from USCIS, to NVC., to consulate, to laws, immigrations etc.. i want to make everything clear......hehehe.. thank you again for your help..
