Currently residing here at arizona from california my greencard will expires feb. 2011 but the address we used for the whole process was in california. Soon i will apply for removing the conditional. How can i used my arizona address since we have a lot of proofs here than in california. Do i need to wait for the notice they will send to me?

green card holders are required by law to notifiy USCIS of their move within 10 days of moving. The petitioner also needs to notify but is not required to by law.

USCIS website has the change of address form and online application.

ROC does not give notice to file your ROC.

Every time you move, you have to file an AR-11 Change of Address form...that should have been done within 10 days of the time you started living in your new address. Your husband naman has to submit an I-865 Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address.

USCIS does not send reminders for you to file for Removal of Conditions...it is the responsibility of the applicant and the spouse (for applicants applying jointly) to start the process within 90 days before the green card expires.

Mail the change of address form first while you are preparing for removal of conditions; once you receive acknowledgment from USCIS, you'd have to file as early as November 2010, based on your green card expiry date.

when did you move? If you moved, how come you still have all your stuff in CA?

I understood that we [uSCs who have filed an I-864 for our spouses] absolutely DO have to file a change of address. Not an AR-11, but an I-865. I just found out about this in this forum. I see marriedtomrg above said the same... There is a recent thread started by someone who says that he could be fined up to $2500 for not filing the I-865... this conflicting information is confusing.

Anyway, based on information I read about here, I filed my I-865 and received two separate receipts from USCIS. The second one said they forwarded my information to the NVC.

OK, two posters above (and I've seen this elsewhere as well) said that there isn't a notice sent out reminding us to file ROC - We got one! It came a couple of weeks before we could first apply... I haven't heard anyone else say they got one... maybe they are just totally inconsistent about it, but we definitely received a note telling us we had to act.
